ok fellas, i'll start this off by saying i am ALWAYS the guy manning the bbq at all the house partays. and i've come to be known for my omelettes and stews lol.

the first drunken recipe in this thread is one i've done quite recently and is known as:

MEE GORENG COMBINATION DORIFTO.

ingredients:

one pack of mee goreng noodles (if you're unsure what this is, you havn't lived)
one medium sized onion
one large tomato.
two to three bacon rashers.
soy sauce.
butter.

step one:place chopped onion, chopped bacon and 1.5 tablespoons of butter in a saucepan, and simmer. 3 mins. stirring occasionally. start step 2 halfway through this step.

step two: prepare the noodles from the packet (boiling water, then microwave 2 mins, set aside) ****be sure to drain well

step three: once onion and bacon has cooked in butter, add loosely diced tomato. keep simmering. 1-2 mins.

step four: add 2-3 tablespoons of soy sauce, and all the flavour and oil and chilli etc sachets (from the mee goreng packet) to the saucepan.

step five:once stirred through the soy, and flavour sachets into your bacon butter onion tomato mix...... add the pre- cooked noodles from your mee goreng packet.

step six: once combined and piping hot, splat it into a large bowl and eat.

i hope at least one person out of the thousands of members and lurkers of this forum does this, and feels as satisfied as i did mere hours ago. i shall post further secret recipes in coming weeks, in the meantime i urge all makeshift chefs to post up their best drunken or otherwise creations to this culinary thread.

happy eating,

macca http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/cool.gif

edit: try and chuck things on here that have a process like a recipe, not just "aw this **** tastes good" .

cheers, look forward to reading some really gun drunken recipes

Agree'd, im about to move out of home and cant cook for shit. Post up some easy recipes http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/biggrin.gif

Edit, thought i had better add a drunk recipe.

I call this the "Super battle driftah cupboard gutter drop search"

Basically, when drunk and hungry, get up from whatever surface you are lying prostrate on, make as much noise as possible on your way to cupboard/food storage area, upon reaching said objective rifle through the contents until you find something that is 1) Tasty and 2) In date. The second one doesnt matter that much, you cant taste mold when truly smashed. The end product is usually a box of shapes. Eat them all. Then go and throw them all up, preferably outside because sleeping in a pool of stomach-bits is never appealing. Repeat process until you are no longer hungry, or you pass out from a combination of Canadian Club, Corona's and mold.

This recipe can also be enjoyed with a sprig of rosemary, or a splash of balsamic vinegar for that greek el fresco taste.

a snack i make all the time that is beaut,

get two pieces of bread and slice some cheese on top, i use a potato peeler to cut cheese, works a treat. Anyhoo chuck it in the microwave for around 45 seconds and it all melts, flip it over so the cheese is in the middle, cut, some tomato sauce and your good to go.

I also make one hell of a bacon and egg sando.

Its a bit tricky to get the timing all right but once you can pull it off the meal is without equal.

Cook some bacon, about 4 or 5 rashes, (i like to overkill so i use 7) then once they are almost done, start making a toad in a hole. BUT french toast it. (ie get a piece of bread, butter both sides lightly, get a drinking glass and hold it upside down on the bread to cut a clean circle, get some french toast mixture going, about 2 eggs for the recipie. Add some pepper and spice to it. Chuck to the toad in the hole in there and chuck it in the pan. Make sure you drain the bacon fat out outherwise the french toast goes wierd. Crack an egg into it after a little while, give it a flip. And start frying a single fried egg. Also toast two slices of bread and single side french toast them. Then your sando should look something like this when your finished. Toast single sided french with some bacon, a french toasted toad in the whole with a fried egg on top of that with some red onion sliced into wheels then another piece of toast single french'd. Cut her in half, dip some t sauce on her, a class of cordial and your ready to tackel any 4age work.

/\ shortest recipe ever lol

so yeah guess i better post one.... shame it's top secret and i might have to kill those who enjoy it.

this one is a classic drunken stew from back in the day...

INGREDIENTS:

2 large onions
5 bacon rashers (chopped)
3-4 garlic cloves (smashed with side of blade, then chopped uber-fine)
butter
can of diced tomato
1 pack of chicken (or your favourite packet type) noodles per customer.
1 big (blade's best) steak chopped up real fine like.
2 big handfuls of mushrooms. (dont skimp on the shrooms they make it.)
water, or if you have it, that campbells stock cartons... beef or vegie or chicken... all good.

NOTES: potatoes, leeks, carrots etc can all be added. if you do this add them at point number 6. spuds would need to be chopped into pretty small cubes to ensure they soften up enough http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/wink.gif .... oh and give the shit a stir every now and then, or at least between steps. oh and it's meant to turn out a stew, not mamma's pasta roma.... so snap the shit out of the noodle cakes before you add them, this is a feeding, not an exercise in fork twiddling.

METHOD:

1 get the biggest fuck-off pot you have.

2 heat it up and put 2-3 tbsp of butter in there.

3 chuck the onions in chopped fine, let em simmer for 3 mins add the garlic at the same time.

4 chuck all the bacon in there. let that cook with the onion for 2 mins.

5 throw the bloody steak in and cook for a minute or so.

6 chuck the can of tomato and the whole heap of mushrooms in there. cook this for 3-4 minutes.

7 add like a litre+ (a litre will do 3 people max) of stock or water, and wait till that sucker boils.

8 when it's bubblin, throw the packs of noodles in. (these can be beef, chicken, whatever) *** 1 per person, REMEMBER make sure theres like 2 bowls of liquid for every 3 packs of noodles if ur goin big scale.

9 once youve got ur noodles boilin away furiously, turn that heat down, and let it go for like 8-12 mins....

10 serve that shit up. you wanna do it after there's just enough liquid and shizzle to fill the number of bowls you have waitin for a feeding.

whether it be for a couple of drunken mates or be it the little lady and the grasshoppers, this'll do the trick.
bon apetite,
macca.
