Now i find this video pretty stupid. He's trying to drift a BMW on dirt. I don't think he even pulls it off..

Anyway if you wanna have a look feel free to comment.

Not everyone is with the knowledge of knowing how to drift.

I wish i had a dirt road to practise and learn on when i first started trying to drift. http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/tup.gif it would have been cheaper on tires and gutters suck at high speed

While E36's are very chuckable cars, I'd be shit scared of stuffing it into the foliage.

Kudus to that rich kid.

Ok my bad guys, i shouldn't of bagged him out. He has balls to be driving a BMW and yeah he is learning.

WaLLy - show us your videos howy

im 16 haven't got my lisence yet and im in a suburb where police are around quiet alot so yeah ain't risking it to drift on the road.

Actually, by the end of it that guy looks to be getting some nice dirt sliding technique, smooth in, smooth out, nice and controlled if a little slow. The video actually shows the guy progressing and thats good. Also a great circumstance to learn the principles of sliding a car, get a feel for the car slipping etc, deserted gravel roads and lower speeds. A lot of forum members could learn from that.

As for worrying about stuffing it into the foliage... Its an mid 90's 320i - German equivalent to a VR commodore berlina really.

Gravel is every underpowered shit-tin Corolla drivers friend.

I agree with Floody. Gravel can be a good learning tool in car control.

Well great if he's in Germany (Europe for that matter). Elsewhere, Bimmer repairs cost an arm and a leg.

<edit> lol, alright, so maybe he is in Germany.
