Gday Everyone!!!

My brother has been debating with me about whether he should sell his JDM Trueno, and he finally said put the car up on AE86 Driving Club and see who is interested.

The details are as follows:

1985 JDM AE86 Trueno
- AE92 4AGZE Engine (Done 65,000kms w/all new seals and gaskets)
- 4AGZE Flowed Injectors
- Modified Fuel Rail
- Malpassi Fuel Regulator
- Trust Trubo Manifold (To suit T25/T25 Turbocharger)
- TD06 Turbo (Original Turbo From The Kit, Requires Rebuild)
- HKS Wastegate
- HKS Blow Off Valve
- Cat Back 2" Stainless Single Hotdog Under Diff Drift Exhaust
- JDM RWD Manifold
- Trust Intercooler
- "Lobster" Intercooler Piping (Cadd Plated, with 2 extra injector holders)
- Greddy Extra Injector Controller (Very Rare)
- Greddy Guages
- Omori Guages
- TRD Ignition Leads
- TRD Quickshift Kit
- JDM T50 (Excellent Condition)
- OS Giken Super Single Clutch
- TRD 2 Way LSD (Excellent Condition)
- New Braided Brake Lines (Front and Rear)
- New Rear Brake Pads
- All Diff and Suspension componets (Front And Rear) have been Cadd Plated.
- Front RCA's
- TRD Front Shocks
- TRD Front and Rear Springs (Unsure of Spring rate, but may be 8kg)
- KYB Rear Shocks
- Adjustable Panhard Rod
- SSR Star Shark's 13x7 Pair (Found Out Exactly What They Are)
- Watanabe 13x7 Pair
- JDM Sideskirts
- JDM Aftermarket Front Bar (Looks Awesome!!)
- Fidanza Red Adjustable Cam Gears
- HKS Steering Wheel/Boss Kit
- BRIDE Solid Back Drivers Seat
- BRIDE Reclinable Passenger Seat
- Fibreglass Rear Hatch
- Strut Tower Brace
There are many more parts, but I dont have the definative list at the moment.

Now, I will not be supplying photos to local Adelaide prople who are interested in the car, as photos do not do the car justice. My brother bought the car as an EX-Drift car from Japan, and had a lot of rust on the rear and where the doors bolt to on the body.
The car has since been fully taken back to bare metal and all of the rust removed and re-welded/repaired.
In other words, about an extra $2000 worth of bodywork has gone into the car since my brother bought it.
It has all been primed and all of the engine bay, door jams e.t.c have been sprayed allready in PPG Jet Black.
The car still needs this work doing to it:
- Panels, Roof, Doors, Hatch and Bumper Bars need to be sprayed.
- And basically just needs to be put back together.

The car is also not complianced yet, but would pass through with no problems when fully completed. the car also starts ad runs with the new engine in it and sounds great. Compliance papers will also be supplied to the eventual buyer.
My brother is looking to sell, but only for the RIGHT price. He does not want any time wasters to bother calling him or coming to look at the car if they are looking to get the car for less than $8000.

You can PM me if you are interested in a viewing in Adelaide, or for some photos if interstate.

Any questions, please feel free to ask.
Regards, Ben.

Gday Guys!!
The car is a complete car, BUT just needs to be put back together. It was pulled to pieces so that the rust could be fixed and so they could re-spray the engine bay, door jams e.t.c
The hard work has all been done, and just needs someone to put it back together and then they will be all set to go. It is all rolling and the engine starts fine.
Yes, this was the car on Ebay, but he had too many people asking him about putting the car back together for them for the Ebay price. In other words...too many tools and time wasters. If we have to put the car back together, then the car will cost you more money....plain and simple.
I have to get the photos off my brother to email all of you guys, as I have had a large response to people wanting to see a few pics.
Please be patient and I will get them all to you shortly.
Thnaks Again!
Regards, Ben.

My brother has just told me to upload the photos on the thread here, as I may get more interest.
So here they are.
The first couple show the car as he bought it, as an Ex-Drift Car from Japan. As you can see from the engine bay, the oringinal owner loved bolt on parts, and boy were there lots of them. The other photos are of how the car looks now after the engine bay has ben sprayed and the detailing had been started.
Any more question, please dont hesitate to ask.
Regards, Ben.

i may be interested but how is the paint job on the car? any orange peel, etc? was car prepped well?

nos4ag
20th June 2007, 09:43 AM
All a bunch of comedians arn't ya........pfft http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/forums/emoticons/rolleyes.gif
The car was prepared by a proffessional panel beater (my youngest brother) and also spray painted by him aswell.
Only the engine bay, door jams, rear end and sill panels have been sprayed. All of the major panels including the bonnet, doors, hatch (which is fibreglass) and bumpers need to be prepared and sprayed aswell. All of the hard work has been done to the body, with a lot of hours spent on it. There is NO orange peel what so ever aswell.
The car is NOT in peices at all!!! All of the suspension is bolted up and brakes installed, and all of the brackets and bolts have been Cadd Plated (which cost $800 by itself), and it looks great.
The car is rolling fine, and the engine is fully installed, detailed and runs great with NO smoke and a very nice idle.
Oh, and if you need coilovers, then he will make you some at $800 a set.
Thanks!

please pm me, as ive just sold my gtr, wanting to buy a 86

if your genuinely interested with money call the number provided. the cost of a phone call isnt much compared to the cost of the car. think about it ;)

blaq.boi
17th August 2008, 10:48 PM
i think the main reasoning behind asking on the forum is that everyone thats interested can see what the answers are..
saves the owner of the car trouble of repeating himself, lets say if theres 5 or 6 people calling
saves new people like me who joined the forum because i want to buy an ae86 trouble.. if the answer is already there
i do see what your saying
its just being considerate about other people making things easier
