Klutch

Azureus.
Torrentspy.com and Torrentleach.org mainly.

If i want just one song and not an album i'll use Ares.

Javal

i use demonoid.com because its community based and can only be a memebr through an invite. people review the stuff submitted so you know if its fake or not and usually anything fake get deleted off the site within an hour anywayz.

its a bittorrent program. i use utorrent as the torrent manager. i did use azereus but had problems with it and x64 vista, but dont remember what the problems were now. i liked it more than utorrent

Azureus is a program to download files via torrent files. that and uTorrent are HIGHLY recommended. Piss Limewire, WinMX and their variants (including eMule and the like) contain plenty of spyware... and thats before you download files :P Plus its based of the older (and arguably worse) P2P method, whereas torrents are server initiated P2P (a central server controls clients pulling files down), and is a lot more efficient in the way it grabs files from peers. And you can select individual files to download.

Demonoid, The Pirate Bay, torrentz.com and plenty more are all good sites to grab music. diwana.org is an Australian-based tracker that specialises in Aussie sports and TV programs. Highly recommended for that sort of thing ;)

And the usual 'we do not condone the illegal copying and distribution of copyrighted material etc etc'...

EDIT: Latest release of Azureus (3.0.2.0) fully supports Vista (both 32-bit and the X64 versions) and has plenty of optimisations added to it. I highly recommend it :)

hmmm websites arent programs fellas.

used azureus and Utorrent mostly.

normal peer to peer shit like limewire based on old stuff like kazaar is a one way street to getting
arse raped by spyware.

torrents are the only way to go, but even torrent programs are shit if u havn't set em up right.

for example, if you havn't heard of 'port forwarding' ur wasting sooooo much time.

use google and learn, and then win.

Port forwarding is not needed, thanks to a little feature called UPnP which most routers support nowadays. While it can be recommended to port forward, with the right program that isn't strictly necessary. Thats what makes so many torrent programs simply install-and-forget, unless you are an advanced user there is no need to do any setup work.

And just make sure your firewall program is set up NOT to block the program and the port you are using for your downloads, lots of frustration can be solved by this ;)

'Well it would seem that the razor blade wasn't invented until some time in the mid 1990's....'

I lol'd.

Nooo, i'm looking for an album by a band called Out Hud.

The album is 'Let us Never Speak of it Again', it's fucking amazing, i used to have it before my ipod shat itself.

I can find S.T.R.E.E.T.D.A.D. (their later album) but not the other one...

It's giving me the shits, the torrent on Demonoid is broken :(
