I am currently changing to a "g" series diff and thought i would post up the De coding info for them
F SERIES IS 7.5 IN
G SERIES IS 8.0 INCH
now for the next 2 digits these relate to the ratio
07=3.9
08=4.11
10=4.375
14=4.875
25=4.556
28=4.3
29=4.1
31=3.9
38=3.42
43=3.56
54=3.9
66=3.07
ok now the last number
2= 2 pinion open centre
3= 2 pinion lsd
4= 4 pinion open centre
5 = 4 pinion lsd
these are available in a variety of vehicles including tarago ,hilux and landcruiser
so armed with these codes you can find the hilux diff that best suits your needs
