i put it all on and shit but then i went to set down the bonnet on it and its too fucking high

the question im asking is, can anyone tell me how to fix this problem or has anyone had it aswell and been able to fix it?

AND i dont have enough money to buy quad throttle trumpets or any sorta shit like that so i wanna know how to fix it and fast coz its giving me the fucking shits atm and i wanna get my car finished before chrissy.

P.S. (for melbournians really) if i email/call toyospares, promax, meridian or even revzone etc., will they help me fix the problem or will they fuck me around? Right now, if someone fucks me around im gonna lose it

cheers guys...................please hurry

has it been installed upside down so the intake pipe is facing the front???

it shouldn't actually fit the right way up, it should hit the clutch master.

with silvertops on stock management you have to either customise the stock plenum or make a new one

Sounds like you have flipped it around. You cannot simply do this. If you view SamQ's threads and others, they have put it in stock position but cut the intake pipe of and moved it to the front of hte motor instead of facing the back near where your clutch resovior would be.

Sam possibly you can post pics to show him ?

oh I respect that and I have no problem admitting this is a shitty job. I wil tell you something I have never mentioned before, I made both my trumpets and exactlors before my engine was in the car and I just had a box on my bench, and because the bends were a bit tight coming off the flange I made them 20mm longer. When I finally had the engine in I tried it and freaked out thinking it wouldn't fit. But I thought I would try anyway and I managed to make it work, so I will be quick to say it aint easy. I am not sure what you can do as a temporary step

matey look at mine i cant weld for shit, especially with a gasless mig, it cost me 30 bucks in mig wire, just take ur time use what u have layin around, if its temporary it doesnt matter if it suks, as long as it gets u on the road
