Well here it goes i finally got a 71 after owning a ksev for a bit and then having the foot wells rust through, thought that it was time to get another and begin the dori journey haha

future plans

4age small or big port
8kg front springs
lsd (locked standard diff)
cut falcon springs in the rear
short stroke shocks up front
serria shocks rear
adjustable panhard rod
some nice 14" wheels haha
paint it lime green or snot green lol :2thumbs:

good start!. how did the ra60 struts go in, still using standard brake MC? i have ra40 struts in my wagon and will probably put ra60 (with ps arms) into the ke7o.

yeah they were ra65 struts they went in sweet just had to use the 65 steering arms and yeah still running the standard MC and the brakes are awsome stops like a dream not spoungy or anything good conversion cheap too cost me $25 a strut with the disk and calliper so nice and easy and much bigger brakes only dramer is i have to run 14" rims to clear the brakes

thanks for the comments bro i should be picking up my engine this afternoon and i got the ecu and i will be getting the diff welded next week sometime then its time to start stripping down the engine for a bottom end rebuild and while im at it i might as well do a full gasket kit and and hopefully a few more bits for it haha

haha have talked to hilton will be getting a smallport soon as i already have a another small port but that needs a little too much work to get it up to going into the car and cbf right now so am buying something that i can just throw straight in yay so my other 7rib small port will just be sitting at my house and i will maybe someday turn it in to a 4agte but yeah it got given to me so it can sit there haha

so in 2 weeks i will be picking up my smallport and then probably 2 weeks after that i will hopefully have the extractors and the zorst made up 2 1/4 straight through under diff

oh and i have some hand flared guards that i have almost finished stripping and painting in undercoat grey for now and they should be going on soon cause i have to tuck those front wheels/tyres inside the guards before the popos pull me over ahhaha

got the 4age finally woo picked it up last night so now i have almost everything for the conversion i have extractors but i need an o2 sensor, i have the clutch and flywheel, i have a celica rad with twin thermos (thanks eggy), got all the water pipes (thanks hilton).

so now all i need is time to do the conversion and someone to wire it up for me i forgot to get sams phone number off u, and i also need to find some where to do the conversion cause my driveway is steep as shit hmmm i think that i will get most of it done in like 2 weekends time if I'm not working

Hit a slight hickup today. The vl pump we got has 10mm and 8mm inlet/outlets and the bundy tube is 6mm. Anyone know a easy/cheap cure to this? other than that the sled of fury is done. Oh and the leads kev brought don't seem to fit

Tha 4ac we pulled out was only held in with one engine mount as the other one was missing a bolt :unsure:

all wired up now and now i just have to mount the fuel pump and earth it and put my tank back in and i will be good to go haha can't believe it is nearly done just those couple of small things left to do and i will be driving with some ge love :greenbounce: also will just have to go through the engine bay and just tidy up some of the wires and shit put some water in and yeah i can't wait to drive it the new exhaust has no mufflers or resinators ftw hahaha might have to quiten it down

yeah bro sounds good i have fixed it temporarly i think i have to check it when i get home from work today as well as finish mounting the fuel pump and connecting the fuel feed and the breather back up to the carbon canister, put my tank in and just tidy up some of the relays and some of the wiring in the engine bay and in the cabin too i have to mount the ecu and o i almost forgot i have to get my sparkplug leads too haha sounds like alot but it is jujst all small stuff and i should have it done by night time tonight so then i can have a drive haha

its so fuckin loud i have to go to a muffler shop tomoz and get a muffler fitted haha can't drive it like it is. went for a quick blatt up the street and sooooo much more powa and did a little u turn and it swung out so sidewayz thought it was going to loop around on me again and all was good loved it :2thumbs: can't wipe the smile off my face :D

Its a small port. Sam done the wiring. It started second try was my fault i hooked the fuel in and return lines backwards woops but sweet now. When we drove it down the road it sounded like a freight train.

Let me know how you go with getting a muffler in the morning..

yeah me too haha got all the dash in and I'm going to the exhaust shop this morning hopefully they can sort me out

well it has been in the car for a week now and i have had a few minor things that i am in the process of fixing and yeah but now its going good and i love it now i just have to get some tight handbrake cables cause even when i have my current one fully adjusted it doesnt even lock the wheels on a hill so when i have replaced them and i have fixed the few minor things i want to i will be hitting archy on a wednesday soonish can't wait :greenbounce:
