twin turbo ke70........... now just 4age

just thought id put up my project to see what you guys think.

fairly clean little ke70 and in the process of putting a 1ggte motor in it.

has coilovers and all suspension set up done. just needs bigger brakes
motor and gearbox just about in. had to butcher the front alittle to fit but will
go back together.
going for a hilux or thinking about a r31 skyline diff for it. something that wont
snap in a millon pieces.. custom tailshaft, exhaust and big fuel system..
its not goin to be a master piece of work but it will do the job..
still a fair way from being on the road.

late AE71 type fronts actually have shit loads more room than early's, still curious as to how its all going to fit!!

got a 1j intercooler thats has to fit up there aswell.
will be a tight fit..

put the radiator in the boot and run pipes through the car to the boot, and run soem theremos, have seen pics of this doen on a ke10 with a hemi 6 in it, they sjtu sued exhaust pipe to run through the car with rubber ones were it joing at the back and front

yea would do that but planning to drive it on the road.
might be abit suss if got a radiator hanging out the boot lol

you dont ahve it hanging out of the boot, you lie it on like a 45 deg angle from the boot floor aiming towards teh boot lid, cot some holes in your boot if need be for cooling and run a couple of thermo fans, i think the ke10 had it lying flat on the floor with two thermos and the boot well may ahve been cut out?

it should move alright, i had a 1gge soarer and it loved the revs, is imagine that this would be much the same with extra power.. scary..

apparently the turbo manifold be cast is hugely heavy and you can save a descent amount of weight by swapping to a proper made one. just a suggestion as the motor is hanging way forward of the x-member.

and wanted to turn corners without understeering into trees.
so just putin a 4age in it for now.. make it stupid abit later..

had a S5 turbo rotor sittin its its engine bay for awhile to but bailed on that aswell.
not enough coin to do it as an apperentice :rolleyes:
