The idle up has been blocked off and shoud'nt be getting air in and i'm 100% sure that there is no leaks from the manifold.
Whats weird is the fact that it can be fine for like a week then it will play up, and the hotter it gets the higher the idle, on time coming home from work it was raining and i ripped a massive one up a hwy and when i let off the accelerator it went to 5000rpm, i freaked out and pulled over but nothing looked wrong externally, cable not sticking, butterfly closed so wtf? Buy the time i drove back to work it was fine, and also the adjuster screw sometimes does nothing, i can have it screwed all the way in and it will idle at 1100rpm?
So yeah any ideas? I have already pulled the throttle body apart and re-blocked evrything not needed of with silicone and a gasket. The only thing i can think of is maybe the adjuster screw o-ring if dirty or torn and when the motor heats up the metal exands around it and air leaks in.
