hows it going i'm Jordan and this is my car

Well after falling in love with ke70's about a year ago I finally purchased my own about 7 months ago and it was a grandma spec clean car. I picked it up for 850 bucks so I was pretty happy.

My first intention were to build a stiff hills set up and when I got all the money together and was looking at buying suspension upgrades, I was involved in an accident with my car and other grandpa driving his commodore. I was getting out of the car and he came around the corner and sideswiped my car and took my door off, smashed all the front end up and mangled the quarter panel.

With all the money I had saved up I had to repair the car as the insurance company said it was my fault but I'm still ye to see how this works.
This is what the car looked like when it was stock

[attachment=21400:l_320cbf...bd7ad15f.jpg]

and this is what the car looked like after the crash

[attachment=21401:l_7eb448...e6529ed1.jpg]

With this all happened it was time to save up more money so I could get a suspension set up. With doing year 12 and having a part time job it was hard to work so the money income situation wasn't going very good.

With doing minor adjustment getting there slowly I bought a tacho as I have ghetto clock so that was installed and I bought a steering wheel and a boss kit from the lads at ajps.

I was looking at getting a exhaust out on so I decided to get a straight through system with dual 2 ½ in flutes coming out the rear sticking about 10cm out the back. It's to loud and needs a muffler.

With the paint not looking to flash on the car I decided I was going to give it a full re-spray with the original color. It is olive silver green color. After the full re-spray was done it looked pretty fresh. Then several weeks later some graffiti kids thought it would be funny to draw a fluro orange cock on the side of m car. I wasn't very happy.

With nothing really happening to the car it was just used to drive to school and to work, so I stated getting more hours at work so the money income would be rolling in.

With Christmas around the corner I got giving a full set of ma61's and tires for Christmas so the car was getting there very slowly.
I though it was about time that I did suspension mods to the car so currently it has

Shocks
Springs
corona control arms
And a strut brace coming on Monday.

Whilst I was at it I decide to do a flat front conversion, and this is what the car looks at the current stage.

the conversion was pretty simple, as long as u have all the pannels it pretty much well all fits on ecpet the headlight. all you have
to do is drill 2 new holes and your done. :2thumbs:

UPDATE 25/3/08

well after buying my new ke-70 i realized that if i get defected again I'm fucked and will have no car. so my beige one is my daily and may be looking at selling it for something with a little more comfort and luxury.

i have pulled out all the seats and random plastic bits that were in the car and have started to remove sound deadening. its a fucken hard task using a heat gun and paint scraper but it seems to be doing the job nicly.

plans are to get,
a 4age or somethink along the lines of that
springs
shocks
sway bars
strut brace

with all this said, i need to start saving money again and put it into the car.

a few pic of the days effort

will get better pics tomorrow when i have an actual camera!

more progress got done today. 85% of the sound deadening is out, used a different method as well. used a hammer and big flat blade screw driver and it seemed to work much better. didn't leave as much of the tar substances behind and came off in larger chunks.

will get pics up later tonight.

when i resprayed the car the first time i went to sprint auto parts on the corner of Edward and south road and they made it up there. i purchased 4l and that cost 168 i think. good paint to and you will never need 4 liters. other places do it but sprints where the cheapest.
