Would it be worthwhile redrilling a set of these to use as cheap skidders? I think that they would look pretty good on an ae/ke..

might be an idea for cheap offset/width, but really the weight is a massive downfall.
if u dont really care about that, then go ahead. fairly certain u can get custom sizes/stud patterns made for relatively fair prices.

I have these on my daily (hiace SBV) and when a Mazda 3 pulled out on me, the rear passenger sunny took most of the hit. Bent the lip into the center, but managed to pull the engine out of the mounts in the Mazda 3. Haha, good old Sunrasiers.

Where abouts from? I've had a quick look around and haven't found anything in 4 stud yet.

Anyone got a pic of them on a ke/ae?

They also come in 5x114.3, so you could get a spacer/pcd adaptor from 4 to 5 x 114.3, the 3 stud makes me laugh, loads of suzuki vitara deep dish rims so cheap.

15x8 steel wheels weigh about 11.5kg's

15x8 challengers weigh 9kg

15x8 Superlight GTR's weigh 7.2kg

i would also.

11th June 2009, 05:51 PM
i used to run 15x8 steelies on the back...they weighed 12.3kg's each without tires...

way too heavy, but i would say that the sunrasia would be abit lighter

just be warned, running heavy rear wheels is an axle snapper

GOODY

Yeh they are a bit heavier but I'm not really concerned with that either to be honest.. Can anyone tell me how much flaring/rolling would be needed with 15 x 8 -13's??

I know theres pics in this thread but I'm pretty sure that car is running s13 lca's which give a fair bit more track right?

I'm using xt130 lca's... What do you think?

blair
11th June 2009, 07:16 PM
will still need a fair bit of flare if you intend running it 'low' at all

GOODY
11th June 2009, 11:13 PM
The car is only really low in the back so I'll see how I go.

so is it actually possible tore-drill these to 4 x 114.3?
or do you need to cut out the centre and refit a new one?

i wanted to graba set of ROH black trak's in 15 x 7 - 10
they are $80 a corner and weigh 10kg's

but it looks like there isn't enough room to drill the 4x pattern
