WTF Matt, that's a massively quick time!! i know you got this time in 2011 but a 1.07, im shocked as fuck lol.. and i understand it was Human timing and not official Natsoft but dear baby Jesus show me some light at the end of the tunnel!! lol

Just so you know why im so blown away from this, i went to a private track day at Wakefield just this Tuesday (13th) and JDMyard's Ek civic with K24 supercharged got i think a best of 1.07 for the day with a timing device, not Natsoft also

i went passenger in one of their mock up EK Civic also with a K24 engine NA swap with semis and that car did a best of 1.09 driven by an amateur (my work mate LOL, his ok), but both civic's have so much more potential with better drivers, and if you did a 1.07.. jesus, that is amazing lol

hi,

Easter 2012 Bathurst Motor Festival

track - bathurst
Car - AE86 - Levin - IP U1600 - first run since total rebuild. Autronic ECU, Wilwood, ect
Tyres - toyo R888 205/50's 3 years old.
Motor - 4AGE 20v Silver - stock std - no VVT, ran out of time to implement. Only 98Kw at the rear wheel, 7200 rpm limit.
Time - 3:02.5

started the weekend with a 3:15 prac Friday, first time around Bathurst, so good improvement to finish with a 3:02 on the sunday.

Next year will have a full 20v race motor, new tyres, VVT working plus other stuff. Hopfully get a 2:55.

Looking to do 1:13's around WP in 2 weeks.

I reckon you can do better than that now you have stiffer springs in the front and when you have your new motor in. Are you going to Bathurst in 2013??

Can't wait to see it.

My car managed a 2:21 around the new long circuit at Sydney Motor Sport Park EC at Muscle Cars, you should see the incar vids...

DGLEVIN

Hi Chris,
Yes with those good springs(you know own's them??) and other changes I have done since Bathurst, I would say I have already improved by those 7 sec's with out the race motor.
The car is so much better since that first run at bathurst and the nut behind the wheel has improved as well.
Will unfortunately not going to Bathurst next year but I will have the race motor finished. Looking to do either MRA races next year and maybe couple of IP races but all depends on the funds.
Bathurst is $1300 next year up from $900, too much of a hike for me. Its no longer supporting club racers, someone is now making money.

Bring your in car vids from MCM and I will bring all my vids from bathurst and EC to Philip Island and we can have an incar vids fest between races.
When do you want the bonnet????
