• Adjustable KYB Short Strokes in Rear
• SSR long champ Front (15 x 6.5) new tires
• Advan rear (14x6) new tires + Advan fronts now 6.5 with nice offset thanks to buddyparts
- Also have another pair of ssr's 14x7's

+ I've got a 4AGE. its a JDM 7rib, and its nearly ready to be put in. I'm hoping that I can get some bits and pieces together this week and start the transplant on the weekend..

Still waiting on intake manifold studs and a starter motor.

4age + t - fiddy is ready to go in bar intake studs, clutch and starter. Hopefully have it in and running by next week.

4age not in yet :( but got plenty of pics of where its at

took us fuck all to turf 4k and box out, swap x-member, old exhaust out etc. cars ready to swallow the 4age.
need a clutch and a starter and inlet mani bolts b4 we can bolt the motor/box together and drop it in. fuck all to go.

but the pedal box....... sweet jesus.

never again will i succomb to laying upside down on the floor of a e7 trying to get the c**t of a pedal box back up and in. i will gladly replace 100 snapped axles in my sr20 keto before i EVER do that pedal box shit again.

hideous job. just no room to move. loom and shit in the way and u chop ur hands to bits reaching up in there.
thank fuck the ghetto measure and drill skills of sly actually worked and the clutch master went straight in.

I'm sure there is an actual "easy way" to do the swap, but we certainly did it the hard way.

suggestion to anyone about to swap to hydro clutch.
remove pedals from box going in and lower ur steering column almost to the floor, its a little easier with that extra
fuckteenth of an inch clearance. still tight as squeeze to get up and in.

as soon as muncher has got his clutch and a starter 4age be straight in.
then onto huw for a big, much appreciated hand with the wiring.
then skids ahoy. :)

well thats the thing, the 4k does put out at least 3.5 rwkw so I thought I needed the biggest and best clutch I could buy to get all the power to the back wheels so that they turned heaps faster...

And for my main fuel pump and surge tank to arrive in the mail and its on like donkey kong.

update, engine now cranks over! yeww but having problems getting a good voltage to the injectors, wiring has a some strange shit going on with it, but no doubt slide86 will get the job done, mega big-ups to you mate!

seems as if it's overfueling... choking up the engine, maybe reg is buggered?? is a 4age regulator adjustable? I noticed when you turn the top half of it, it clicks a bit could be different settings?? Could also be because injectors are stuck open, no signal to them maybe?? I have no Idea! damn modified loom of doom. All I can say is 'slide' is the MAN! haha.

well after so many fuck arounds.

i don't know how to fly a plane, so i keep my ass outta the cockpit.....the same should be said for people who don't know how to make a wiring loom. thats all ill say.

we threw the loom that came with the car out, it will be burned shortly. yes, we are actually going to burn it. we fitted the factory fwd loom and it started up and revved straight away.

yes thats the ecu on the guard, and yes thats the loom hanging out of the engine bay. we are pretty much going to leave it like that. just put a plastic bag over the ecu for when it rains. lol

the engine and exhaust sound REALLY good. awesome tough note from the exhaust

Can't get the thing to idle properly, runs good bad good bad good bad... its giving me the shits.

It will all work out one day i hope. Need to find where to plug the o2 sensor into, black wire according to ecu pinouts.

OK progress... My mates brother had a unfourtnate accident to his rolla (fwd) but lucky for me it was a 4age.. So I'll be getting any part I can think of, off of it on Monday.. (btw, the 4age still runs!)

It's ideling now with no MAP plugged in or o2 sensor in or n e thing, It will drive but like a bucket of shit.. I really want to start again with the loom so every connector / wire is hooked up properly and good to go, the one i have atm is a lil bit dodgy and more than likely the cause of my issues.

Hey dude what did you use to clean your engine bay? Polish?

yeah mate, when the engine was out I jumped in there and scrubed the shit out of everything first with degreaser then used 'repo extra heavy duty cut and polish' and just went over every lil bit I could get my hands on, then painted n e lil thing mat black that was dull.. came up really nice

Got my zorst sorted, it now is over diff and it has a resanator (hotdog) although that didn't really do anything as it's basicly the same noise level..
