my work accident..... shin bone exposed!

Bad news for me guys.

I just got home from hospital. I took a huge chunk off my leg at work yesterday. 5cm on my shin bone is exposed. iam in a very bad way.... Flesh, bone, and all the rest of it was all exposed and hanging out. Was in a world of pain until they gave me morphine :rolleyes:
I got pics tho (hehe), and will post em up for you all to see when i get a chance..

I had to have a skin graft, which included 27 stitches! very haggard situation.

OUCH!!. I just got out of hospital aswell with my tonsils out. They made me eat toast before i could go, Thats sucked.

dropped a wooden shipping pallet down my leg from about 1.5m high. Went straight to the bone and tore a 5cm gash down my shin. the gash is about 1-2cm wide...

unrelated but related a friends rides bmx shatter his knee cap in 16 places the front axle hit it and shattered knee cap....2 ops later and 5 months gets told its all good to ride again by the doctors...goes for a ride puts his foot down on a landing....knee cap shatters again....now it jus clicks alot...lol

I wondered why there was no bone showing in that pic, plus it looks realy old and pussy, a fresh cut would'v been real bloody and what not.

These are just the external stitches, there are alot more dissolvable stitches inside the wound to keep it together....
