after the conversion on KE70briskev's the small port has started leaking water from the front plug. How hard are these to change and what is involved?

welsh plugs, they're pretty cheap to buy, a few bucks each.
use a punch to turn them sideways then pull out with a set of pliers.
use a socket to smack the new ones in, use some FIPG(gasket goo) on the outer lip and make sure they're in straight.
let the FIPG set ,re-fill your coolant and off you go
