also he's just purchased a bosch 044 fuel pump would that be overkill on the new motor (and adv or disadv)
and would anyone have a EFI wiring diagram for a standard bigport 4age
one more question do you need to get a custom fuel lines if so where can this be done in south west sydney yo

Most people would research this BEFORE you start it....
Toymods should have wiring diagrams, fuel lines should be fine, use the return from the fuel pump on the 4ac as the breather (3/16") Use the inlet for charcoal canister and fuel supply (1/4") as *surprise* supply and return, re-route 3/16" line into the charcoal canister etc.
Fuel pump I can't help with, I used an intank item.
Hope that is some help, good luck.

fuel pump will be fine (alot of people think 044's are vl turbo thats an 040 he may have that) he'll need a surge tank tho and a lift pump

no custom fuel lines needed just a feed and return it has them both already
my old mazda capella made 464hp at the treads with stock 1.3 carby fuel lines, myth busted

Change the rubber lines to EFI hose though. I think the 044 is an in tank pump, It might surge on hard corners with 1/4 petrol in the tank. Make sure your return line is good because that pump will flow alot more than the stock 4age will use.

As said, use 6mm return. Any external pump is fine to use with standard carby pickup for daily driving, and will only surge if you start going under 1/4 tank.

thanks for the help people
well my mate has recently bought a surge tank and that bosh 044 fuel pump (don't think he has a lifter pump yet)
would he be needing anything else.. or is everything pretty much covered on the fuel side??
cheers
