Awesome car, sure did come up a treat after the restoration work. Love the wheels...you just need them tucked up in them wheelarches
185/60s would probably help the cause a bit.

r3zzz4
19th March 2008, 01:50 PM
Thats cause there is hardly ANY tyre! 195/45 14 = pimp spec tyres, 185/60's would fill it nicely, but I'm not complaining.

That is one of the cleanest builds I have seen on here, you deserve that trophy champ, well done indeed.

those are Uniroyal tires....planning to buy another set of rims...maybe 15's so it'll fill the gap quite nicely.

next up is the suspension...still thinking what to put but i'm sure it'll be from the ae86's. :2thumbs:

i'll update some pics when i get started....and last upgrade would be the engine....

...right now its running a 3TC motor with oversized pistons and webber 45's, here's the pic...

ill be replacing it after I'm finished with the suspension and this is what I have in mind...

Do you have to change the bonnet and guards or is it only the headlights and grille?

thanks. i did have quite a headache acquiring that front end....you need only to change the headlight and grill with a few minor mods for the mounting of the headlight assembly.

i'm still thinking about it. i'm eyeing on the datsun 510 mirrors which most of the group-5 in japan use...but then it won't be an all toyota car anymore...my other option would be those from a celica. TORN!
