its not that the pistion is all the way in

the caliper wont fit between the backing plate and the rotor

has it happend on both sides or just the one, maybe a slightly bent hub axle cause the spacing to be out of wack?

i thought adm/jdm backing plates were the same

but if not ill have to source some jdm plates

hubs etc arnt bent i put em on the original struts and they do the same problem

I'm thinking its the backing plates

Have the calipers got the numbers 2022 stamped on them?

I put JDM front brakes on my car and from memory I didn't change the backing plates

Backing plates are the same ADM to JDM. Something must be bent or not fitted properly.

yes the calipers are 2022

and the adm ones are 2002

but why do i have the same problem fitting it on my old struts too?

its not the caliper bracket is it? are you using ADM ones or the ones from those coilovers.

perhaps try adm ones if you have them

ADM calipers are 2014. Are you sure its a sprinter strut/backing plate? maybe some photos may help.

will get some picks up

I'm using coilovers from slide 86
and jdm 2022 calipers and dba slotted/vented rotors

my old struts has hubs and backing plate from ae85 and the calipers were 2002

if its the case ill need adm backing plates
