i'm tryin to figure out what extremes will fit ie rim size offset..
there seems to be no definative topic, though from what i've found
OEM wheels were 14x5.5 or 13x5 offset +18mm (so they'd obviously fit) with oem tires of 185/60-14, 185/60-14, and 175/70-13
it seems without flaring 185/60-14 tires on 14Jx6 0 offset seems a good fit
or
7 inch rim on 195/50-15 or 195/60-14 with +10 offset

what is the largest rim size with what tyres, ie will 16s* fit?
what does everyone use?

*i'm not a big fan of huge rims.. though just curious

obvioulsy it depends on ride height/ camber etc too so maybe include that too..

this topic has been covered a multi-tude of times.....

but in my opinion 14x7 +4 is the best option if you don't want to do any guard mods....

i run 14x8 -15 on the front of my ae86 with about 2.5 deg negative camber and mildly flared guards.

For stock (rolled) guards an 8J, 0 front and rear sits sweet.

with stock LCA's and no camber tops and stock sussy?

or dumped with sigmas and -5 camber?

to everyone:
theres no real point saying what sits sweet unless your specific.

i run 14x7 -9 with 195's up front. rolled lip and guard sits jusssst below top of tyre
with stock lca's and -2.2 camber. also with a slip on 8mm spacer for shits and giggles.
thats pushing the limits alot (scrubs a bit close to full stock lock)

rear i can't fit my 14x7 -9 anymore because theres only about an inch of visible tyre (175/65 stretched)
with stock s series and no spacers. edit: stock rolled guard. could maybe fit them if the guard was rolled real good.

hope this helps :)
