could someone please identify for me the idle screw on a ke70 stock carby

ive just advanced my timeing and now it is idleing quite high 1.7-2k

so i want to turn down the idle

Take the air box off and have a good look around. The idle speed screw is the main one that physicaly stops the throttle from fully closing.

There is another screw at the base of the carby, for idle mixture. I think from memory this is blocked off on the KE70 unless its been played with. It is easy to see on the KE30.

^^^ what he said, but every ke70 i have had has had a idle mixture screw even late model ones
