hey guys havnt really taken notice till the old man pointed it out
but when you chuck my car in reverse you can hear the rear go Clonk Clonk over n over
even sometimes if ur just pushing it, sounds like its coming from tailshaft or diff area?
anyone got an idea what it is or how i could fix it

checked uni joint ?
quick way is to jack up car (use stands) or hoist if u hav access ;) get under and one hand on the either side of uni joint and twist each hand in the opposite direction and do the reverse back and forth. if there is too much play or u can see wear or looseness in the joint then thats the prob. See also how much play is in the diff etc by twisting the drive shaft one way and then the other way back and forth.
my guess is the uni joint.

Also check that the 4-links are tight. And the Panhard.

can't be sure about anything without seeing it. but we can point u toward some of the probable causes.
And yeah good idea to check u got no bolts loose on the tailshaft mounts and other driveline parts like us_ae86 recommended, that would be dangerous if some are loose.
Good luck

well i was thinking it could be the sound of a locker but I'm guessing just just standard JDM diff, just a jdm kouki trueno i could only imagine its all stock, i remember seeing a 2link and panhard could that be it ?
