That's Alex Zanardi's crash in a ChampCar race in Germany. He lost both his legs in that accident, presumably that's what we're seeing there. He lost control of his car coming out of the pits on cold tires and span accross the track, where his car was broadsided by Alex Tagliani (the blue car) travelling almost 400km/h.

no I'm almost 100% that's stan fox's indy 500 crash! he actually survived it even though you wouldn't think there is a chance with his legs hanging out. unfortunatly not long after he died in a car accident on public roads.
