someone please tell me what this is, my prediction is that it was the standard plug to the fusebox to power the ecu

wires were spliced off this to run a seperate relay (not in fuse box), ive bypassed this completely , straight from relay to adaptronic, just wanted to make sure i didnt leave anything unplugged as there are no plugs missing under the fusebox

Far from it, its the 4ac external voltage regulator plug for the alternator. 6pin molex connector, should have a black/yellow wire (ignition) and a yellow wire for the charge lamp on it.

no shit, my car has a sv21 alternator on it, dus this mean that this plug is doing nothing

sv21 = internal regulator

You can chop off the plug, but you still need the black yellow and yellow wire for the alternator.
