Yo homeiz

i just picked this thug up about 3 weeks ago.bought it off a mate. It's got "spirit"

19th June 2008, 11:43 AM
if it's a bad spirit i recomend the sacrafice of a 3 year old goat and 1 year old chicken on the bonnet whilst only dressed in black at midnight of a full moon night...

if it's a good spirit, leave it snax... they love to eat when no one's looking

what are you plan's for it...

19th June 2008, 12:14 PM
haha your funny dave! it has big port just chillin in the engine bay already. already pulled all the vinyl off it and put a flat front onto it. I'm going to keep the little 'spirit' on the back doors. got a pair of watanbes on the front. I'm wanting to invest in some NRCA's and some 86/t18 front end. newer pix up tonight

19th June 2008, 03:30 PM

20th June 2008, 06:26 PM

16th July 2008, 06:49 PM
Have seen a fair few rust in that spot in the guard, mine is rooted there.

Here I come cut front guards!

16th July 2008, 06:58 PM
I'm so sexually attrached to that guard right now its getting harder and harder to not just give it a quick stab....

16th July 2008, 07:01 PM

^Sweet flares. Looking foward to seeing the look with them on.

18th July 2008, 08:31 PM
get us a pair man :(

20th July 2008, 03:05 PM
u told me a bought a spirit you didnt say it was a 16v u sly c**t.. sell it to me..

20th July 2008, 08:58 PM
its easier then you think to repair guards like that. Basically you need to find a donor car and air saw the guards off that, then weld.rivit them onto the car. use filler to smooth it.

easier said then done, but mine is that bad and i have started on it and already its looking the way it should.

21st July 2008, 10:29 AM
i could of repaired them easy. but the sheer effortlessness? of putting on bolt on flares was too much to pass up

21st July 2008, 11:44 AM
hey clinton what you gonna do about filling your guards if you only have 14x7 0's? 14x7 0 filled my stock guards?

21st July 2008, 01:02 PM
slide some washers (read: bolt on spacer) onto the rear axles to space it out to 25mm. the guards a bought are only a 25mm bolt on so it should work out nicely

22nd July 2008, 08:05 PM
well today i found out a few funky little things this car had back in the 80's

1.A 'Mobile' telephone
2.A toebar
3.A keypad killswitch

6th August 2008, 05:01 PM

11th August 2008, 06:55 PM

22nd August 2008, 06:30 PM
well there are some interesting things ive learnt on this car this evening haha

yesterday morning keen to come back form my license suspension i get it out of the garage for a whole 10 mins before the soft clutch line burnt onto the extractors, making the hydrualic fluid catch on fire, as a result no clutch :(

got it back this arvo and damm its fun!!
