depends on if they have a Dynamic wheel aligner or not

you will get charged more for an alignment done with a dynamic aligner

going rate for a hack job is $40, Dynamic is about $70-$80

or you could cut a couple of board's and do it your self

as above most generic places do them for $30-40, but thats for a pre programmed setting, never been able to get my ae86 with this alignment because its not in the listing! but the ke70 is...

my ae86 cost like $70-80 from tyre power, they do any suspension from 4x4 to openwheelers

i'll do it for you. you'd be surprised how good you can get it with a tape measure and short test drive...otherwise fork out the cash.

yeap they are, considering they have no alignment in the rear and are a solid diff at 0

yes and no

some places will happily do you a rear wheel alignment for live axle, say if your car is lowered with adjustable panhard rod, theyll get it spot on.

but why would you bother? do it your self and save $40

to me $40 is worth it!

to not have to fuck around on your back for 30min!

also it should cost the same no matter if it's IRS or solid diff, my AE93 still cost $40 for all 4 wheels.

Is that how its mostly done?

The last place i went to gave me this print out that had AE101 sprinter or some shit on it. And its only a tad better than when i had the $45 in my pocket.

yeah that would be right!

I took a FJ60 landcruiser in and got back a receipt for a Deawoo lanos! dad took a EF falcon in and got a receipt for a XC Falcon! my missus took her WRX wagon in and got a receipt for a f**king outback! Thing steered worse than it did before we gave it to them! let go of the wheel and instantly the thing turns left at about 45 degrees!

their fucking useless

That being said, is it better to ask them to do it without computer assistance and tell them what you want it to be set to or should they have something else that tells them?

they'll still fuck it up

took my AE93 in with all the settings from the whiteline website, got it back with mass negative camber on the front so every time I steered left in the wet I had no traction at the front at all!

I played around with it myself and am pretty happy with where its at now
