Now has 12months rego and is crusing along lol.

1985 GZ10 Soarer GT

Engine: 1G-GE - Pod filter and straight through exhaust
Gearbox: W55 - exedy heavy dutch clutch
Diff: F series i think not 2 sure..


Future mods include:

1UZ conversion with either w58 or R154 eventually, slight possibility of a TRD supercharger kit
coilovers up front, springs and shocks back.
JDM style fender mirrors

still gotta get some pics up lol been pretty lazy, also im looking for a new fuel tank and a passenger indicator lense somehow mine got smashed :(
getting a chop lock and drop soon as well and im also in need of some decent wheels, 15x10 anybody???

Agreed, they have a huge amount of room under the rear guards. 9's with the right offset and some rolling, 10's with some guard work.

Also, a W58 will not stand up to a 1UZ + S/C. Maybe a JZA80 Steel case, but yeah, I would just go R154 for what it's worth.

by my calculations 9 is about spot on. ill have a set of mesh that will be perfect for sale soon.. 15x9 -15ish.

should be a good challenge too, im hoping we can use the standard headers too as itll most prob use stock ecu and everything stock to keep the cops off it

anyone know where to buy the bellhousings to suit w5*/1uz???

should be fair easy to do using stock gearbox position, ill just hang the engine over a bare x member and fab up some mounts and should be all good to go

now bonesy just needs some moneys lol

just been searchin round and found all the parts bones needs to 1uz this rig

its all up and running now still have a couple of issues with it sometimes its not getting enough fuel and wont rev, checked everything i can think of: fuel filter, fuel tank, air flow metre, injectors, fuel rail but still nothing...
