hey guys, been lurking the forums for a while now, my turn for show and tell.
got a '84 Ke70 with 4K still in it, bought it off a mate from work who also gave me BP 4age motor and loom.
pretty standard atm, 4age is preped for install, spent the last few days getting the k50 and 4k out. got chopped EL springs in the rear and randoms up front done by previous owner. sits perfect and is stiff as.
got a long way to go until its bak on the road but i aim to have it done before i turn 18 in late july.
tell us what ya think :P

just installed pilot bearing on the back of the crank today, still waiting for my flywheel bolts to come in at work and engine will almost be complete to go in. in the mean time i have gotten stuck into removing exhaust and all lines and wiring keeping the 4K in the bay.

thanks man. just broke it playing footy. had a nasty slip. even tho ive got the broken arm, my best mate has been sheding heaps of sweat helping me out. last night we removed the exhaust, tailshaft, k50 and 4k. all by hand! haha. picking up a t50, ae71 pedal box and tailshaft this week too. clutch kit set me back 165. xtreme sports will hold more power and torque than an exedy heavy duty, and their cheaper :) i only got for that price coz i work at autobarn and got staff discount :D

Im going to have to disagree with you there, i had an extreme hd in my 4age and it slipped like crazy when it got hot. Replaced it with a exedy hd and have had no problems :)

oh well thats cool, personal experience is always a better judge than word of mouth. ive heard that the xtreme clutch holds more power from a few different sources but can agree that exedy do have a bigger name and have been proven in the past. im just going off what ive heard from friends and work colleagues. anyway, time for pics :)1957219573195741957619577
