Hi guys.

I'm really keen on a track day in Perth, does'nt really matter where or when. Is there anyone that can organise this or what do we have to do to have some fun? I recon we get Skylar involved as he suggested the previous one!

for drift guys, there is the CMG drift burn out day on sept 4. $100 enter no cams or car club memberships needed. and there is prize money

also for those that want to get bulk track time there is collie drift assualt on september 17 + 18. $315 to enter for 2 days of drift. you will need cams license and wascc license. these can be purchased just for the day

p.s. Tom stop being a pussy and come to cda

What is required for scrutineering? Thinking of converting my ksev from autocross to drifting, does stuff like the cage need to be CAMS approved? I put a cage in it but is not to any specification cause it didnt have to be. I also have a 5 point harness if that makes any difference. Do they only worry about saftey aspecs sutch as these? The rest of the car should be fine as it is mechanically sound.

sorry for such a noob question help will be appretiated, cheers

You need a road rego'ed car, then very basic checks are done:

Oil leaks
Seat tight
Seat belts working
Brakes working
Nothing loose in car

Your Silvia isn't loud enough Skylar :) Although i spose that would keep the cops away hehe

Check the TECCWA Facebook page/website, we seem to have an event every now and then, usually Midvale.

It's nice, not too loud, not totally quiet either. Police haven't pulled me over in that car yet. We should all get get a varex like JCMO though.
