Snapped this up last week....Thought I'd make a thread for my plans/progress
No bullshit with this car!
(below a slightly edited cut n paste from the ebay add)

Remote Start Alarm
12" powder coated steel wheels with 155x80 R12 tyres
Spare Minilight alloy wheels with lots of tyres currently 4x 165/70/r13, with 2x 175/70 r13 snow tyres in picture and 2 more tyres not sure of size, also a spare radiator and various interior trim parts, and a bonnet
Spare, genuine Japanese steering wheel,
Exeddy heavy duty clutch
tinted windows 35% darkness
Saas Sports steering wheel
Monza Bucket seats
Pioneer Stereo inc subwoofer and amp - pioneer 12" and MTX 222w 2ch amp
100w spot lamps and 50w fog lights
New Driveshafts, CV joints, bearings - front end
Slotted brake Rotors front
Boost Guage and Air/Fuel Guage
Custom 2.5 down to 2 inch exhaust
Remote Central Door Locks integrated with alarm
New Windscreen

and came with a Supercharger Mounting Bracket, suitable for AMR300 Supercharger with piping, blow off valve and rising rate fuel regulator.

Bought it without rwc or reg,but needed fuck all so I basically passed the rwc and got it registered today.

Plan for it thus far is a general tidy up,fresh respray and I've got my eye on a tr-xx kit for sale here....so obviously the order will vary....

Will def be looking at a set of bolt on flares so i can legally run the minilights,and ill be looking at some smaller tyres,155/65-r13's maybe?
and prob just a set of king springs to bring it down about 35mm?
I like the clearence in this though.......It's mad fun trough the bush,which im surrounded by here!

I'm actually thinking about joining the local light weight car club here.....which is the closest thing to motorsport we have here other than the "bogan spec" speedway in Daylesford....or then the "upper class" Redline speedway....I kinda got over going around in circles of mud n dirt in my padock bomb days as a kid......sooo,a dirt circuit and timed laps sound welcoming in my old age....hahaha!

recieved a call from the courier company today,will have the kit tuesday!

I'll start taking my driving/spot lights off monday....I can't see myself making holes in the new front bar to re mount them so i'll prob put them on the Mrs wagon.

Also got a new,second hand steering wheel...one of them white pearl glitter things,"JDM style" but the thing was fucked,spokes glued in and shit,so instead of saving $100,I cost myself another $100.....no joy!
got a brand new wheel coming the same style,but a little smaller.....I'll chuck some pics up next week!

i recently joint the local rally club up my way, hopefully do another motorkhama and or kahanacross buy the end of the year, went to one not long ago and it was heaps of fun, they do them both on dirt and tarmac, and the only thing you need to do extra to the car is have a fire extinguisher

I've gotta get some smaller tyres before i can lower it...its still factory ride height and it scrubs like a bitch!
prob have to run the stockies once the trxx kit is fitted because the stock bars have been cut to fit the 165/70/r13's!!
then i might cut the springs for now,untill i can get some new lowered springs anyway

Deleted the factory bov,airbox and variable boost control.....which only ran low boost settings before reaching the optimal running temp....so high boost all the time now,and it actually sounds like a turbo car now...couldn't bring myself to fit a T peice in a car that has factory duel stage boost control...so i'm picking up a turbosmart duel stage unit as soon as I have funds.

So it turns out I need a pair of L210 Avanzato headlights and a bonnet from Japan to fit the kit properly.......Jammed the stock lights in the holes and tilted them in......so im kinda rocking out the Boso style Evil eyes look atm!

Puts off the rear spoiler/mid wing I wanted for a little while,but ya get that in the big jobs...

Ended up making some 100 mile an hour eyelids to fill the gaps up top and tidy it up a little bit......as tidy as gaffa tape gets anyway.

So my "to buy from japan list" looks like this now

-rear spoiler/mid wing(possibly the aftermarket extended version)
-pair of L210S Avanzato gaurds
-L210S Avanzato bonnet
-pair of headlights
-a set of rims
-and I found an aftermarket bolt on chin spoiler that im looking at too...bolts to my new bar type.

So The Van's up for sale atm,cos I'm outta money.....lol

Ended up doing a better duct tape job over the gaps in the bonnet and then painting over the whole bonnet in flat black,then painted on the eyelids!
got some bolt on flares coming next week,few other goodies!

I thought today was a good day for fitting the flares.......chopped them up,screwed and plated them,covered the join with tape and painted them up......I'll get them done propperly soon,but i'm happy with it for now....its not like its the cleanest mira in the world......after i fitted them it looked kinda funny....all high n shit,so i gave the coils a trim.
that should sort it out until i get some propper lowered coils.

What can I say....After I bought that little orange fellow max I was feeling the Daihatsu love!

I was looking for a charade turbs,but when I found this for the right price I thought....."Hmmm,That's the same model as the red one Marvis Built,and that thing was off the chain!!"

I liked that dudes car,but I really didn't want it to look like I copied him at all,
So I Googled up as many L200 Imagas that I could find,took in some different references from styles I liked,sussed out what accesorys and bolt on parts I could actually source and Bam!
I pretty much had this thing mentally built in my mind before I'd even payed for it!
that being said....It's still a fair way from being finished yet!

I've been thinking about painting it an awkward color,something that grabs your attention forwhat you first thought was the wrong reason,but then once you take it all in,it's like...Fuck Yes!!...........Something like pale Yellow & keep the black bits,or maybe burnt Orange/black two tone? or a light powder blue pearl with some massive glitter flakes?? Or even baby poo brown with some huge silver flake!!

Hahahaha

Got 3 dudes offering to paint it for me atm tho,so sooner rather than later I'm tippin.....prob early next year?

actually i was thinking about getting them,seen a few singles in this stud pattern going cheap......But,atm Im waiting on another engine/box package which cost me more than i wanted to spend on the rims.....can't wait to get it back on the road,miss this thing!
to top it off the carry van spat the drive shaft and sheered the g/box yoke...so i need parts for that now too,and i've had no car for the last 3 weeks......Been riding My Raliegh chopper,and my daughters schwinn krate...lol

ended up finding a set of 13x8's in SA....they're only spitfires but performance dont make that size any more and they're brand new so I'm pretty happy with them......who's gunna be looking at the style of wheel when they're 13x8's?

on that note,I bought some new tyres for the rears today....had to give the rear flares some love to fit them!

I had to install bonnet pins after I fitted the spacers.......It wasn't latching properly at all,even after adjusting it every way possible.....I even tryed to twist the rad support into the right place!
didn't happen though....spacers nailed it,I think it looks kinda tough......for a Mira anyway,lol

@Hillzy,Yeah it has been very reliable,besides the fact my gearbox was already fucked when I bought it and the car was off the road for some time.....but since I replaced the box it's been great!
that being said I am having a slight issue atm with a faulty ECT sensor.....problems been diagnosed,the issue has been finding an actaul ECT sensor for an ef-jl engine.....all auto shops can supply the ADM ECT sensor,but its a two wire 5v resistance type.....mine is an earth type resistance!
I've got one ordered at Toyota now,I'm hoping it works this time!!

@Dori_Dori....It's awesome,cost me about $35-40 to fill it with premium........even running in "limp-home" mode due to the faulty ECT sensor,that still lasted the good part of a fortnight!
It's a super fun daily,really it is.....and funnily enough,the cops don't hassle me in it either!

Needs paint......those flares are raw gel coat and the rear wing was quickly sprayed black with some left over non matching paint....

It's starting to tidy up though...I'll be getting some stainless nuts/bolts to re fit the flares soon too,I remember someone called me out on the tek screws,hahaha

Solid Urethane mounts,Star shaped Indicators,pair of fender braces and and LED ring for my dildo aquired/fitted since coming off the road!
I found a clutch fork,just waiting on delivery.....I'm expecting it tomorrow,so by rights this should be mobile again this weekend!

I've also drill & cable tie stitched my side skirts and painted them flat black and I'm getting some paint mixed up for the bumpers to match them the the body,plus I should have enough to touch up a few spots!
Should come together nicely...few other things ive touched up etc
