Hey guys

probly been asked before, but i got a daihatsu mira and 4x110 isnt
the most common pattern. if i get adapters, it will space my wheels
right? how far? is there a better way of doing this? i read some one said
change the hubs, how hard is that?

thanks in advance!

save 1000$ buy rims from japan.

if not and you want to do it the hard way.

pcd converters, around 300 a set delivered.
you can go from what ever pcd to what ever pcd.
min thickness is 15mm.
so if you got a 14x6 +10 ssr mk1 for example... that makes it technically a 14x6-5... sounds rad until you realise that you'll look like a Mexican because stock rims are 12/13x4.5 +45ish
you can swap over to 100 pcd using L700 mira (aka Cuore in australia, also Sirion), it directly bolts on. but... you have to buy the brakes and for the front as L700 is disk over hub where L55 to L500 is disk behind, sirion is a good option as the disk brakes are twice as thick and vented compared to the L700 gear. altho, im not sure about how interchangeable the sirion hubs are.
but you have this problem where, you couldnt find 110 pcd rims right? well 100 pcd isnt much better at all, 100 pcd is more common but in anything cool like SSR's you will still pay thru your ass to buy.
as Kei Zoku cars are better more popular, so have all the 110 pcd rims so if you can find a set of 6 and 7's chances are they are around the 60kyen mark, and thats even before you've placed a bid.
100 pcd rims are even worse cause not only do some diahatsu's run 100 pcd but pretty much everything else kei + pretty much most small cars (echo, rolla, jazz, civic etc...) so everyone wants them.

also, tyres are a big consideration... theres really not much avaiable in australia. 155/55 R14 would be a mint size on a L200 but cheapest one ive found so far is a toyo at 170 each (FUCK THAT!) you can run 15's with 165/50 nankangs ns2 or 165/45 nankangs as2 at around 110 each, 165/55 R14's (not sure how much, federal Fd1's) or some 155/65 or 145/70 R13's is pretty much what you should be aiming for. nothing worse than getting some 7j's and then running 185/60 R14's on them... wheels wont fit and it will look like ass

best options.
buy 110 pcd rims that you want. 700 ~ 1000 a set if lucky
or buy pcd converters (300ish), try get cheap set of high offset old school rims for cheap as possible 400 maybe?

maybe you could find a machinist that would weld up and redrill hubs for you, but i got quoted around 200 for a rear pair. i guess it just depends on where you go.

i redrilled my mira hubs to 114.3pcd

rears are easy as to do. fronts are abit tricky as they need welding.

thanks heaps for the info i might save up and import some 13x6s. i just bought some 14x6.5/7 offset is 0, but i tried them on my ke70 and they stick out a bit so on the mira they would have no chance, plus 14s are pretty big for a mira.. with the adapters stick out to far i think.

theres no way you'll get rims + adapters under mira guards.
i have 13x6 +20 and they poke heaps on flared guards.

i've never seen adapters smaller than 25mm
