Think Sam Q does 110mm Trumpets for $210, Suit Silvertop and Blacktop. T3 75mm ones are $235 as well. Do the AJPS ones have any benefit over either?

Undercar surge tanks are cool, might look into one early next year. Are they similar to the ones Aaron did a group buy on?

I would be keen on an under car surge tank, wasn't in a position to buy one before when the other group buy was on.

they look very similar to aarons.....except for everything except the fact its under the car :P
aarons ones were held up by the bolts which hold the straps for the main tank. which I think is better than having to drill holes. However the hole where the fitting for the main pump screwed in was inset and covered by a metal plate which makes it either very hard to do the fitting up tight or very hard to do the hose clamp up tight. Also I would be very interested to see how this ajps tank's location effects how easy it is to get the main tank in and out! Cos I can tell you lifting the main tank into position while stuffing the hose into the small space between the tank and the boot floor while also trying to hold the surgetank in place and then trying to lift the straps into place and bolt the whole thing up is a BITCH!! It actually requires the use of both hands, an elbow, beer gut, one knee and your forehead and mouth!!!!
So yeah I have some other fires to pee on first but if you keep these for a while I reckon I'll get one to see if it makes life easier!!

Hey Dave, parts look epic, good work man.

Might want to state for the novice tuners, that anything over your 70mm stacks won't work on a 4ag with certain quad adapters as they will fowl the brake booster.

Also any reason you didn't match the ports on the BT to 49mm? With 50 your gonna have a 0.5mm lip ( not much but. It all counts)
Just curious....

The throttles I measured have been 49.5mm, I will have to recheck. They also have a slight bevel on the end which helps the fitment of 50mm

Is that with a digital vernier Sam? Cross checked at all? Be good to get a definitive on this

Sam-Q

yes on both counts, although it does depend on where it's measured. It has been a while though so I will recheck

there definitely isnt a lip

i have them on my own car

as for the length i guess each application is individual so its hard to make a statement to cover all....

as for pics
