Hey guys,
Just bought some 14x8 hurricanes wondering if what tyre size would give me a nice stretched look. I know where to get some 185/55 for pretty cheaps will they give me a stretch?
Cheers

185/55 or 185/60 are generally the sizes people go for on 14x8's.
Buy some good quality steer tyres please.

Hero Hz1 are fairly decent and sub $100 a tyre (got my last pair at $88ea),
Kumho KU31 if you want to spend a bit more ($130 maybe? haven't bought any yet, trying them next),
Toyo proxies are meant to be fairly good and if you find the right place scrape in around $100 (don't know if they have a 185/55 option though),
Tried and tested are Bridgestone RE001 if you can find some since they don't make them anymore places still stock them though (prices vary ~$120 a tyre)

I'm thinking about getting these. Could you please give a little review? Would you buy them again? Compared them to other tyres? Thanks.

Hey dude I just put those same 595 185.55 Federals on the front for a khanacross event brand new and for the first two runs they were fantasic and then the third run they had dramatically deteriorated, understeering badly, and by my 4th run I was wasting my time. Seems they are feathered badly on the outside and I'm running -2.5 and neg 3.5 camber. How are yours holding up? I'm really disappointed. :(

haven't been on here for ages, but mine got scrubbed out hugely on the front but that was due to 22mm toe in. they run great for me for driving around the hills and all that. Tyre pressures made a huge difference for me my fronts had 4 psi more in than the rear the front would slip out the rear wouldn't. pumped them up fixed, i like them for the price so i have no complaints.
