Tim went from 120kw at the wheels with IMEC stacks to 128kw with T3 70mm stacks to end up with 137kw using some SQ Eng 110mm stacks!

What's clearance like on KE70 for the 110mm Stacks? Except my car has engine mounted 2" forward, ill probably have to get some tape measure out.

normally 70mm stacks come very close to the brake booster, 110mm normally be for left hand drive only. However in your case it might fit.

The combined filter adapter I am working on might fit as well.

any performance gains between the lengths of the stacks or is it just for fitment

Sam-Q
10th March 2012, 12:16 AM
definate performance gains, 110mm seems to be ideal for both a 4age and beams

do you keep these in stock?
is postage included with the prices shown?
can you make custom lengths and what is the turn around time?

Sam-Q
9th August 2012, 10:53 AM
Right now I have 20, 43, 70 and 110mm in stock for silvertop.

Pending on the payment method I can mail them on the same day usualy. For custom turn around time in only a few days but there is an additional cost, with these you get to choose your length and bellmouth size.

Post is extra but it's pretty cheap.

sweet i'll take some measurements and let you know my requirements and go from there

Thanks Sam

no problem, also keep in mind I can get large bellmouths rolled and then machine the sides to either clear each other or that and enough room for slide on filters. I charge $5 per side for the service so for 4 cylinders it's +$30.

Here is a picture of some B/T 150mm stacks I put together:

holy snap that looks the good

Sam i think i'll just go with your 110mm to suit silvertop.. my setup is 16v with T3 adopter and silvertop ITB.. i measured and i think 110mm SHOULD be ok or really close to hitting something, but shouldnt touch i think.. your thoughts? do you know if these will hit at all with similar setup? my setup is not in the engine bay so i could only measure total length and with assumption guessed where the bell mouth might end up.

I have seen 70mm fitted with a T3 adapter and it came really close, so no not a hope unless your not running a booster.

made any to suit r1 carbs?

Sam-Q
10th August 2012, 01:53 PM
no but I would be most interested in giving it a go, if I can make them and sell them I would give a serious discount to the first person who gave me the samples I need

Can you get these made to suit a 48mm throttle diameter?

Sam-Q
20th August 2012, 01:16 PM
what is the opening on the throttles themself? because silvertops have 48mm, well most of them anyway

Sam how much machining do you have to do to make the 110s on a blacktop with the break booster. Got any pics?

Sam-Q
30th August 2012, 06:11 PM
probably machined till you have a plain pipe left! unless you have a 3sge beams or a left hand drive car it's not going to happen

How long of a wait on 110mm for bt sam?

Sam-Q
21st September 2012, 04:55 PM
If it's for BEAMs then usually no wait at all. However right now I am doing a new batch and it's going to be done in the first half of this week.

hey sam, interested in getting some velocity stacks for my ke70. My set up is going to be bigport 16v 4age, T3 ITB adapter and silvertop quad throttles.
I want to run filter socks on the velocity stacks to keep the dust out, whats the longest stack i could run with the standard ke70 brake booster and filters over the top of the stacks? 70mm?

Also when putting the quad throttles on, are the standard 16v and 20v inlet/throttle gaskets ok to use? because i read that you sell gaskets for each individual throttle, do they seal better or have better fitment then the standard gaskets?

cheers

Ryan
