fav tool...

hhmm...

gotta be the hammer! make rims round again, acts as lubricants for things that dont quite fit, aids in the increase of guard size, relives stress and tension, can be used as a breaker bar on spanners as well!

favourite consumable has to be zippies ties followed by fuel, tyres, oil (lol) and WD40

for this week it's my air ratchet. but that will probably change in half an hour when i go and do some rust cutting. wire buff on a drill is so much easier than wire brush.

blue point ratchet spanners. They have like 20 small teeth on the ratcheting ring, rather than a hexagon, they are so good, can even remove completely rounded nuts.

Sabre saws are neat,

Go to your hardware store next time and get the "demolition and rescue" blades. They are the perfect toothing for cutting up car shells

Has to be my new Bosch cordless reciprocating saw. Cut up a Jag in a few hours and didn't get burnt from sparks or Plasma flash.
It cut through 7 thick pieces of sheetmetal in the pillars like having a shit.

has anyone here got many stahnwille n is it worth the coin?

Got a set of their screwdrivers, allen sockets and metric 3/8" sockets. They are the best Jerry!

Stahlwille makes my Snap-on stuff seem under engineered. Snap-on tools are very well made, but the design is often a little wanting. No press button release for sockets is a pet hate. Makes removing them with greasy hands a chore.
The Stahlwille set not only has button release on the ratchet head, but also on the extensions!! Win!

Having said that, fav tool: Snap-on flex head 3/8" ratchet.

Ah my rattle gun... where were you all these years?
I used to do everything with a supercheap 3/8 socket set then one day I just couldnt be fucked with a stubborn bolt anymore so bought a rattle gun.
Best thing I've done, do jobs in a third of the time!
