Turning Seconds Into Firsts

Developed for racers

Bendix Race has been specifically designed for race applications.

To formal CAMS race drivers and teams, Bendix Race is a premium racing brake pad, that is designed to out brake the other guy under extreme braking. You get more initial bite, optimum control at the pedal and remarkable thermal stability throughout the race.

Bendix Race is developed by one of the world’s leading high performance friction material manufacturers, extensively tested for six months of real-time racing by champion drivers to prove that Bendix Race pads are consistent from start to finish. Bendix Race is crafted in the Engineering Laboratory to ensure the highest possible standards.

Bendix Race has been initially created to suit TASCCO Saloon Cars, BMW E30, HQ Holden and Historic Group N classes. There will be additional references available depending on demand.

Consistent responsiveness for optimum control

Any speed, any pressure, the friction level stays the same. You know exactly how hard to press the pedal without having to guess or test. When you’re trying to extract every fraction of a second out of your lap times, you want to know how your vehicle will respond every time you apply the brakes.

The ideal brake pad delivers consistent response over a range of speeds and pressure on the pedal. We tested Bendix Race versus 2 leading competitors by applying the brakes in “snubs” from 200km/h and measuring the speed and pressure sensitivity. The graph above, demonstrates far superior friction stability for Bendix Race which means you know what to expect every time you apply the brakes.

Note: a snub is a brake application that doesn’t completely stop the car.

When the competition hots up, you can keep your cool

Less conductive than semi-metallic compounds, Bendix Race is made from a low steel compound. This helps to keep the caliper and brake fluid cool. When the brake fluid gets too hot, it can boil and cause brake failure. The pedal goes to floor with no brake effectiveness. Bendix Race is designed to keep performing even under extreme temperatures experienced in race conditions.

Champion drivers say consistency inspires confidence

Six months of real-time racing by champion drivers proves that new Bendix Race pads are consistent from start to finish, inspiring confidence and creating winners.

These drivers know their cars and must know their brake pads. They have been testing the new Bendix Race pads on circuits around the country.

So what have they got to say about Bendix Race?
