Hi guys, long time lurker first time poster.
I brought this car about 18 months ago with every intention of doing a full restoration and engine swap but as with everything life got in the way. I would love to hang onto this car but need the space and don't have the time to work on it. I still very much want an AE86 so this sale will help fund that.
I purchased it from a guy in Melbourne who was in the same postition I am in now, simply no time to work on it. The car is complete (minus carpet) and came pre stripped ready to start the restoration. All interior pieces were included (some cracked and broken), all pannels, all glass, everything you need. The car itself only has 160,000kms on the odomoter and the chassis is straight.
I have removed the majority of the surface rust and cut out the parts that were a little worse for wear (usuall areas, rear wheel arches and boot lid) but haven't gotten around to welding in new metal. The boot was in pretty bad shape, it is roughly 30% restored and the bonnet needs a bit of work (a branch or something must have fallen on it). The rest of the body is pretty straight. The chassis is in excellent condition, dead straight. It would make a great base for a full restoration or a race/drift car.

I also have a few bits and pieces that I collected for this car up for sale but i'll post them in the appropriate forum.
I'd like to keep the car as a package but would be willing to part it ot if there is enough interest.
If there is anything specific you want pictures of let me know.
If you want to come up and take a look PM me and we can work out a time to meet.
Cheers
