Item Condition: Am selling my 1979 S1 RX7. Have owned the car for nearly 4 years and have spent a lot of money. Have just bought a house so unfortunately need the cash. Everything is done, a lot of fun to drive.
MOTOR/DRIVETRAIN
Motor is an import S413BT running a standard nikkie 4-barrel. Full build was done by Mildrens here in adelaide, have receipts for $5,500 for the motor.
Motor was also ported (extend port) and dynoed. Making 92rwkw and 296nM of torque.
Motor has done less than 6000k's since the build. In the four years ive owned it, less than 2 of those it has been registered for. Otherwise garaged. Warmed to full operating temp before driving, EVERYTIME, without fail. Yes i know i know may not be necessary, but became a solid habit that i did not break.
-Lightened 8.5" flywheel.
-EXtreme 4-puck clutch.
-Gearbox has been replaced, shifts well, no noises. (old one was whining in 2nd gear.)
-Re-cored S2 radiator.
-Fitted with a s2 electronic dizzy. (No points)
-Upgraded to an E-series Falcon alternator. (110 amp) All associated wiring done properly.
-Full exhaust system made by Exhaust Technology. Seen maybe 1000ks tops.
-Removed entire rear end, installed all new superpro bushes, (trailing arms etc) bigger whiteline swaybar, 4.44 diff center (locked), and new brake shoes. Cleaned and painted on reinstallation.
-Twin thermos (on thermal switch, with dash light to let you know they're on..)
-K&N air filter.
WHEELS/SUSPENSION
-BRAND NEW Performance 15x8 -9 Challengers. Fitted with Bridgestone RE001's and NANKANG Ultrasport NSII's.
-Can also include a spare full set of 15x7 +8 challengers, and a pair of 15x7 Chevoit rims.
-King spring super lows all round.
-KYB Exel G shocks all round.
-Brand new front rotors, Lucas pads and front wheel bearings.
-Strut Brace front and rear.
-Superpro bushes fitted front and rear.
-Whiteline rear swaybar.
-EDIT- FORGOT Changed entire steering column and replaced steering box with rebuilt unit.
BODY
-Painted "royal blue" Mid 2008. (open door.)
-The visible rust was completely cut out, with steel welded inplace. (minimal bogging.) However there are signs that some rust may be coming through. (different locations.) Nothing serious.
-Fitted with solex style locks.
-Aftermarket front bar, sideskirts and rear bar. (not sure what style.)
-"Lazy eye" headlight switch.
-offset front number plate to be more of a he-man.
INTERIOR
*EDIT - FORGOT. -had the ignition barrell rebuilt. Not shit like 90% of the ones ive seen...
-carpet replaced a few years ago from 'rare spares'.
-Recaro style fixed back bucket seat. (drivers) Holds you in very well.
-Adjustable bucket seat (passenger)
-Rear seats removed, think ive got them round somewhere. (useless anyway...)
-Kenwood front speakers (4"), Panasonic 6x9" in boxes in the back.
-Decent Pioneer headunit. (w/remote)
-Some gay gearknob.
-Decent MOMO wheel.
-Aftermarket pedals.
-s3 power windows.
SPARES
Available spares (will be thrown in for the right price.)
-2x spare diff centers, both 3.9 (one locked, one open.)
-pair of monroe rear gas shocks.
-full set of performance 15x7 +8 challengers.'
