Hey all,

thought i would put up a thread for my fiancée's KE70 skidder!

bought it on monday for a steal! here's the current specs

84 Slant Front KE70
JDM Bigport 4AGE
JDM T50
Extreme Light Flywheel
Exedy HD Clutch
Aftermarket Extractors
chopped stupid low springs
unknown shocks
SV21 Radiator
Twin Thermo's
Surge Tank
VL feed & VL lift pump
Coilover kit on KE struts :S
Modified bigport ECU
and a whole bunch of spares

plans are to set it up for my fiancée to learn to skid!!! so the basic mods will apply hahaha

so what you all reckon? should be a good little missile haha

looks like a good base man. With a bit of a clean up and some suspension work i reckon it will make a good skidder.

Saw this forsale and yeah it was a very good price, even just for the conversion gear. Would of bought it myself if i had the money

yeh we got him down a couple hundred in price, which was good...

meant to be buying some coilovers and rear spring platform setup for this tomorrow...should help with the ghetto height hahaha

so this is the current throttle body vacuum line setup...i dont think its right...the clear line goes to a Vac guage in the cabin...dont know why it has a vac guage but oh well...

AJPS coilovers on sprinter struts and rear height adjustable spring seats and shocks...this is his old setup that just came out for the shockworks gear to go in!

gonna try and get it together and in the car tomorrow...

and i have decided that im going to strip all the wiring out the front end and start again...coz it is FUCKED UP...

so...i will definately have to strip this whole shell down and start again...it appears the guy i bought it off was more of a fucking chudd than i thought...

yeh real safe...so yeh...there is ALOT of too dodgy in this car for my liking...so complete strip and build it is...

i reckon it was still worth the buy price, theres definitely enough bits in it to warrant a rebuild

rear suspension is done for now, front suspension will be going in on the weekend, then im going to adjust it as high as it goes to make it easier to work on, ill just have to play with the height till im happy with it when im done rebuilding

Yeah sorry, I'm not trying to rain on the parade here. I have no doubt it was worth the buy price for the parts, just for me personally I don't currently have the time to put that sort of work into a keto. If I did the story would be different! Good luck with the project :)

Perhaps you shouldve waited until after she got some seat time sliding until you handed over the ring, maybe she would've rathered majority of that money go towards parts/car/tyres :DD :DD :DD

But then again, maybe not :(

sooo...started having a look at the fuel system today...

nothing dodgy about having a fuel line so squashed its almost cut in half...

scratch that...not almost cut in half...as i started to lower the tank down, low and behold...fuel comes pouring out the big hole in the line...

yeh thats the only thing keeping me interested in it...picking up a new fuel tank for it this afternoon from drift spares at daveys house hahaha, this car has got a fair bit from his car in it already hahaha...

comes with the complete RWD jdm 4age, 500km old lightweight flywheel and hd clutch, JDM T50

just needs the fuel system done

add some suspension and skid...
