Hi Guys,

I thought I'd put some pics of my GT 86 on the site. I picked it up from Luff Toyota in Yass then went overseas for a month. During the month away it spent some time as an R&D vehiclefor Haltech and Xforce Exhausts. It's going to be at Motorex in Sydney this weekend so the last few days have been flat out getting it ready. I have slid it in the dry on stock wheels and tyres and they are an animal!!! I have some track days coming up over the next month and will make some videos along the way.

It has:
Xforce stainless system from the headers back.
Haltech Platinum Pro ECU
ADVAN RS 18x8 wheels
Yokohama 225/40/18 Neova Semi Slicks.
TRD brake pads.

I love the car and am yet to drive it in anger on the new wheel/tyre setup. I think the stock suspension is incredible with the standard wheels and tyres so I'm hoping the additional grip won't show any shortfalls in it.

Do you have a dyno figure with the haltech installed?

It looks pretty good with the haltech decals...

im interested to see the difference the exhaust and tune will make.

The Haltech is able to control the direct injection then?

are the vinyls there to stay or is that just for the show? looks great. five axis spoiler and red tail lights would finish it.
what offset wheels did you go with/could you fit?

The wheels are +44 but I could have gone a heap more aggressive but the research I did came up with this tyre and wheel combo giving the best result. As for the decals, I'm not too sure yet.

The 5x100 stud pattern knocked out watas, I'm going to focus on my f20 car in the next couple of months!

Not a bad amount of power, though i almost expected more. As a side note Ben we made a huge improvement on the front end of the AE86 suspension compared to what it was. Let me know if you're keen on something for this :D

On the haltech dyno.

Let me know next time you are heading out. And is the extra 20kw enough to spin the tyres properly?

Nice increase!

Was that still with standard ecu or with the haltech? Do you know when the xforce system will be released/pricing info?

I think you'll find Toyota/Subaru intentionally gave it that. If you've seen Top Gear reviews, and various other ones, one of the best aspects they talk about is that you can get it sliding under 40km/h. You don't need much power to have fun in the new 86 :)
But from an exhaust and a tune, a 20% increase is a good gain!

A decent air intake will see great results too as the factory setup is restrictive.
