Allot of $$$ for what exactly? And I haven't been able to find a dyno graph...

wow think that throttle body is a bit of a cash grab, +2 mm over standard is nothing id like to see the actual research figures behind the unit to see what the flow rate is over standard

Probably negligible difference. There is no core exchange though which is probably why it is so costly... Wonder how much a factory replacement unit costs

improved hp and torque gains...what? 2hp and 4Nm? May as well go grab a dremel and a new butterfly valve.

you would suprised with that amount of customers we have, that when we tell them there is no throttle cable are shocked and suprised, and never could tell the difference

$2301usd all up.....fark how much are the turbo/supercharger kits? rather get one of them. or you could buy a shockworks kit and still have money left over

The dbw setup doesn't help keeping the price of this kit down any...but as you agree a massive outlay for potentially very little reward

TODA also look to have a 3mm bored throttle body. 87,000yen, which converts to about $1,000.

Link (http://www.toda-racing.co.jp/en/product/injection/fa20-throttle.html)

For what it's worth, the Cusco +2mm body gives a 6.2% increase in cross sectional area and the TODA +3mm gives a 9.4%% increase. I'd wager that going much bigger than that would start to throw out the maps on the ECU a bit.

That is where companies like ecutek come into play. The toda kit seams more reasonably priced than the Cusco equivalent

Throttle controller is a must for any fly by wire system . Response is otherwise rubbish and rather resembles turbo lag.
2mm over bore... Why bother.
