lolwat

2mm plate, i believe
got to clean up underneath as benny smashed the other box () last night, looks fuckin awesome, just rear tunnel area to do now, need to shorten panhard rod mount on my diff as its made for watts link, add a bar so i can have 2-3 panhard bar mounts/levels(if clay comments saying half assing not going watts link, ill bite your face off), weld on spring perches, powder coat, get new crown and pinion setup and thats diff done
chiseling sound deadner out, isnt as mad as people make it out to be, do a little bit in between things its not too bad

fronts yes rears no :)

lolwat
22nd December 2012, 07:25 PM
both rear boxes are done, rear tunnel is done, now have a diff center that has been welded to the fucking shit house, cut off watts link mount and shortened the other one, ready to weld on 10mm stainless plate so i can have panhard at different heights, spring perches have been welded on, so diff is nearly done ready for sandblast and powder coating

bought a 3m speedglass 100 series helmet, so i can get cracking on welder as there wasn't one at my factory
http://www.ae86drivingclub.com.au/dcimages/3/7/5/4/502902.jpg

lolwat
22nd December 2012, 08:09 PM
Benny has pumped work, ive been a bit lazy, did a bit on the welder today, pretty happy wth my self(jumped in the deep end a bit welded spring perches on), so ill get smashing every seam with wire wheel, and seam welding it all

once diff is in(rolling again) going to flat tow/push, it around to bennys work, so he can make a lovely alum frame and jacking point in the back, then i can start fuel setup, waiting on invoice from bills auto fab as well so i can pay the mofo hahahah

hurry up #### hahahahah, ill beat you :P

Gunner
22nd December 2012, 08:44 PM

Now to fuck my tunnel off

lolwat
3rd March 2013, 12:48 PM
Pending price my boss comes up with (doubt it will be cheap enough) or from Yahoo Japan, i will Getting Evo7 cluster, and basically a front cut loom, to run everything thing off a evo 7 ecu (fans, boost, temps etcetc), will look into what would have to be done to convert the hilux box speedo sender to work with the evo 7 cluster and ECU, as i will be running launch control etcetc(under 5km's it will use launch control)

shifter position doesnt look to bad with the R155 and the 4g, considering how far back i sit anyways it should be sweet, went to sit box and engine in thurs night, and couldnt find an angle grinder(noramlly everywhere)

lolwat
29th April 2013, 11:09 PM
Whole evo cluster can eat a penis, too much work for little/no return
may do it at a later date

R155 input shaft is going to be cut and shut to match a R154 item
Broke as fuck, how it sits at the moment

Tube rad support, all removable, for easy engine removal
engine sits nicely, box fits in tunnel and shifter comes out in standard spot, just to make mounts up

Finally had some work done to this hunka yesterday, I stripped a heap load more sound deadening out and mick and myself cleaned and (properly) seam welded the whole bay, getting ready for motor mounts and tube work.
