So i bought a new car and thought i'd start a build thread so here it goes

i used to drive this little panda 1.6l of fury
http://i46.tinypic.com/10r7io6.jpg

Was a fun car but started getting bored of it and didnt really want to spend anymore money on it so i started looking at other cars had a list of what i wanted
180sx
s13
bmw 318
golf vr6
ae86
mx5

Had my mind set on the mx5 so i kept saving and saving but one day my mate told me how one of his family friends had a ke70 for sale i was sorta interested as my first car i drove was dads 4agte ke70. So i went home thought about it and he emailed me a few photos of the car:

After seeing these pics i had to have it, it was just so clean was perfect so i gathered all my money up and drove up 2 weeks later to test drive, check it out etc etc.
Drove it around and ended up buying it on the spot was in such a good mood so i drove it home (slowest drive ever)

Specs:
1.3l 4k
4 speed manual
rwd
boat suspension
305*** kms

First thing i had to get rid of was the steering wheel so i went to jdmyard and bought myself this
http://i49.tinypic.com/2r2u68m.jpg

Then i had to get a boss kit
http://i49.tinypic.com/2ir21q1.jpg

Then i got bored so i chopped up the rear shade thingy and made a little roof spoiler
http://i46.tinypic.com/2em0jfo.jpg

Put some stickers on
http://i50.tinypic.com/kb7mo0.jpg

OK so my plans are
put a silvertop 20v in it
lower it
nice wheels
tint
ducktail
quad light front end
chin spoiler
tacho dash (instead of clock dash)
bucket seats

This also, but really at the end of the day it's just another corolla, yeah clean ones are getting hard to find now but there was never really a big market for them was there? Actually now people seem to be selling them for more, hey even me I suppose, haha.

Nice car!!! So clean. Even though 4k is slow with good suspension they are still fun to drive :) and reliable compared to a vr6 you were considering haha, a mate has one and its nothing but trouble !!

so the idea is to either roll and flare guards or run bolt on flares not to sure at the moment
I also need to get different wheel nuts as i don't have any that fit on the car.

Yeah, just put some up on it. I've had 2 different ones on it in it's life, I don't mind the ones on it now though, just look similar to the std ones but bigger, ahah.

Best off sourcing some XT130 Corona or RA40 Celica struts/hubs brakes. Will set you back a similar amount for the lot as what a pair of AE86 hubs will. I did that (XT130 struts) and had shockworks do my coilovers, best way imo. Bigger wheel bearings are a bonus out of it too, as well as cheaper DIY brake upgrades.
