Since there seems to be a few people doing 'grip' racing I was wondering what tyres people use? I used Potenza GIIIs last year am planning to try the Adrenalins this year. Am also interested in Yokohama Advan A048 but don't think I'll like the price lol

For a street tyre, the RE001 is awesome value for money, an amazing tyre.

imo you can't go past toyo proxes r1r's. crazy grip and don't wear as quickly as bridgestones

Thats good to hear as I said I will be trying them this year, but I was talking more for on the track then street. R1Rs don't seem to come in 14s what about the Proxes R888?

toyo's in general seem to be really good. long lasting, good grip and don't delam easily. even running cheaper spec proxes 4 aren't bad

On my race car I've used khumo V710's which are very very good, have a set of R888 which suck in comparison for autox.I went to a track day with the R888's,which is what they were bought for,and wasn't all that happy as the tire(full trad depth, hate to shave away a brand new tire)felt really squirmy.
I did also use a set of michelin race slicks, they were used when I got and they were surprisingly grippy and lasted well.

Running bridgestone re070 semi slicks on the front of my car at the moment. Expensive but fantastic in every way. Wet and Dry grip is great, wear is great, not too noisy, super super responsive.

Many people here tried federal 595RS semis? I'm going to try that for my next tyre.

When looking for Bridgestone GIII I found Kmart tyre and auto to be the cheapest. You could try Tyre Zone for the Toyos they are in Cleveland or Capalaba
