gt86 and gts prices and delivery times

i saw this on another forum and i know alot of you including me are getting this car, so if you dont mind posting how much you paid at the end post it up.

also post ur delays and expected delivery i bought mind prolly near 6 months ago was told id have it not long after, well before september and now im finally getting it in about 1-2 weeks and my final price for pearl white gt86 manual was 35k including on roads and things like darker tint, paint protection, door protection interior protection i think? and prolly reversing sensors with an initial 800 buck deposit, meant to be a grand but my card was limited so they just got 800 :)

39k drive away for a White GTS manual with 12months rego and full tank (saved around 1k on the drive away price - most I could get here).

Orded 11th of June and told them I wanted it for December (to have time to sell my car). Car moved from December delivery to November then to December..... then to December build......then to November build (two weeks ago).

on the boat as we speak and should have it in 4 weeks time :)

(and if he can do that he would be getting my business......) He came back with the approved form and said he told his sales manager that if he didn't sign me I would just go elsewhere.

That said my sales consultant 6months ago is now the new car sales manager so I now have someone else....

Priced up a GT 6mt at a dealer the other day, 34k drive away without trying ;)

you can option them up, gt they tried to offer me was an additional 1500 because of the gps head unit installed, never thought of optioning a gts down? hmm but i wouldnt want leather seats during summer nice n all but pass

yeah pretty much, more demand than cars, give it a year or two and it should be ok.

A 6MT Red GTS popped up at the dealership down the road, not allocated yet for a confirmed FEB delivery. Will be sold at RRP.

Yeah insurance is annoying... expecting it to be between 800-900 once I finalise quotes - 25y.o. with no claims or accident history (more expensive if im 26 for some reason!?!?!)

$900 with AAMI but going to see if SGIO (NRMA) will do a price beat on it and bring it down to the mid 800 mark.

My SSV ute I sold was cheaper and insured for more :(

i will never use aami again. had to claim with them once and it was a nightmare. my car had to be repaired and it took over 6 months, was dodgily done, they wouldnt let me take it elsewhere to get it done quicker and properly. 3 hours on the phone everyday. absolute bullshit

i was in at my dealer seeing how far off mine will be and he said im lucky i got in when i did, the wait time is out to 18 months now for gts, gt are a little quicker to get

spoke to a local dealer here in QLD, he was really really helpful, showed me a list of 86's where the buyer couldn't secure finance but the cars are still coming in (as they will sell) so he had a list of GT/GTS Manual/Auto and colors I could chose from arriving March

So maybe ask you local dealer if you want a short lead time and are flexible on some choices etc

Yours and Mine probably was on the same boat, damn wharfies though ... that strike, I got a call from Toyota Prosser saying might be delay. but Wharfies went back to work the other day. Hope toyota was able to get cars out and process it quick hard with all the holidays off that coming around the corner~

Probably are on the same shipment. The cars are OUT of the port and are at Kewdale holding yard getting radio and boot mat fitted. Hazel @ TWA said cars should start getting delivered from Monday (maybe this Friday - if strike didn't happen).

We only lost one day with the strike but it really means the difference of before christmas delivery or after. For you, it will probably be NYE at the earliest since you need tinting and I assume full detail on the car (ie strip all the plastics off, full wash and polish). My car will be delivered with all plastics left on (inside and out, no wash) so that means all it needs is the PDI and plates fitted (1/2 a day at most).

RAC are too expensive for me.... I should really be paying 700-800 at most (not 1200+ like RAC want).

Sweet mate. Getting your ride hopefully before xmas. Pretty jealous. I was told the wait could possibly be 19 months if I were to have the order exactly to my taste. Guess I might have to make compromises if I want fast delivery.

yeah I got told via facebook that our went to kewdale. yeh tinting will be awhile. I'm happy it was able to get out of the ports.

Silver 86 GTS manual is available at Clintons Toyota Campbelltown arrived today, now sitting in the showroom. The order was cancelled so it is up for grabs, not the right colour for me, so thought i'd post.
