Hey mate, nice little 84, mines a 84 too ;)

best of luck with the conversion..

I once felt exactly like you.. got me corolla, got all hyped up thinking i was gonna get it resprayed n all that jazz.. i hope you go through with it if your set on it, you wont regret the 4age conversion though, wouldn't even bother with cams and carbs n all that if your gonna do it... you'll love it.

ill keep an eye on your thread n offer any advice i can hey.

best of luck and welcome

hey Casey its not my first ke70 i have had about 10 of them a couple of wagons but mostly sedans im not doing it up to be a drifter just want a nice sounding daily with a little bit more pep with the cam and carby upgrades i have done a few conversion in my life as well did a 20v in to a ke70 with r31 rear w58 box also did a turbo 4age into one of my wagons but these days time is the killer so if i find some spare time ill start building a built 4age or maybe a sr20

20v with a w series and an R31 rear? Sounds like overkill really.
But yeah do up an expensive k series with a massive cam. They sound awesome when you cold start them. And they are idling on 500 revs

It wasnt a stock 20v, seeing as i already have a 32/36 weber sitting in my garage and i can get a cam for $110 i think its pretty cheap its only a daily and who said massive cam i sure didnt after i have said twice b4 that its only a daily so its still got to be drivable and to big of a cam will not make it easy to drive i mean if i want a drift car again id go buy one
