Specs
22re torque monster
W55
Lsd T serise diff from ra60
15/8 superlites all rnd
Recon radiator
New timing chain and guides
New oil and water pump
2 inch exhaust all the way
220ks

Trd shocks in rear with 6kg springs
7 kg springs in front. Monroe shocks
Mx83 front lip

Got a turbo kit for it. For some fun later down the track. I have fitted it only to discover turbo is shaged. Rebuild soon just N/a atm
Paint work is faded. Bit of surface rust her and there. Nothing major

Yeah I looked at it yesterday. I'm gonna get the ignition stuffand some other stuff off it toMoz to get mine going again. Looks like it's had a new or recon head on it

Just went to upi. Got ignition stuff and now the car is alive again. And Someone has taken the head of the 22re. Didn't last long

Looks cool. Decking your head and doing a port job and messing with the valves etc shouldn't cost too much. It's a 22RE. The re is for REsearch and development!!!

Cheers man. Still unsure what I want to do. Build a 22re to handle turbo. Or just turbo stock or beams. Think I need to reset the valve clearance its abit loud. It Like the rockers are hitting on the rocker cover.
Gonna try and get a 5me afm. Less restrictive then the 22re one and some extractors. Should liven her up a bit. Then a mild cam later on hopefully

Adjusted the valves today. Doesnt sound like diesel anymore.

mine are noisy as hell, even with touch tighter than spec ,7 and 9 thou. i do have a after market cam but.
extractors and full exhaust make a huge difference in power delivery, moves power band higher in the rev range, the cam evenmore so. i also gave my head a bit of a touch up with the die grinder, just knocked some sharp edges off and match ported it as well and semed to help, or maybe it was just in my head haha. have the biger afm too just need to install it, hopefully it lets it breath a bit better up high

Thats some help full info man cheers. What afm u got 5me??. I got 2 inch exhaust stock headder. Made a little difference. I recon some one played around with my afm b4 I got it. Clicked it up afue notches to make it run richer. Cause I tryed putting the timmimg at 5degrees and it ran like a bad of shit so its on like 15 degrees now and its got blue gasket goo holding the cover on. What cam u got in urs?? And did u have to change valve springs.

afm was ebay spec, apparlently its a supra afm ,so 5me i would assume, with the 22re electronics in it.
when i got my extractors i got the full system at the same time, some people on the net reckon the std headers are not to bad, so maybe all my restriction was in the exhaust not the headers, if you want to try it out i have a seat of headers that ill sell cheep.

there isnt any for sale there atm but its a 270 duration and 0.430" lift, and might not have needed new springs but i bought them anyway

Cool man . Im sorda stuck on what I want to do with it. Either made it a tough na. Ur rebuild my turbo and blot it on. I can instal turbo in one day. Would like to see a 22re with quads. Would sound porn

yeah its easy to get lost in the options haha. what you could do is get the fundamentals for turbo underway, aftermaket computer and bigger injectors and and go exhaust with extractors while your at it, tune it and drive it, then if your still keen down the track throw a turbo on, all you have to do i build manifold and dump pipe and plumb the cold side up and re-tune. i did see one with quads somewhere, will have to try to dig it up, but if your after extractors/headers give us a yell

The ITB set up looks crazy. Better if it had map sensor so he didn't have to have a plenum. There is a tunable afm for the 22re no flap door crap. Might be something ill look in to in the future. Same with the cam. Thats engine builder guys stuff is pretty cheap on ebay. Very surprising
Ive already got a full turbo kit ready to bolt on just that the turbo has blown a seal. How much u want for the extractors?

yes they say bunderra but they will fit a corona, so they told me anyway, and when i had all my exhaust out ii bolted them up to the head and they will work fine, just need to get them graphed onto the rest of they system. i payed the 160 delivered but they have done nothing and i dont need them so how dose 120 delivered sound??

The swap was easy did it a saturday afternoon. Bolts straight in. All u need is the diff and a manuel ra60 tail shaft. I cant see photos either ill try put some more up
