Yes dammm hahaha came in my old 4age ke70. So just been having those.

Once shes back driving on the road im gonna rebush the whole car
New coilovers that are 3 way adjustable and what not.

Ive noticed you do a bit of hillclimb and stuff
In your opinion. Coilover setup in the rear? They any good? Or am i better off just getting some good springs and shocks?

spring and shock as intended by toyota, with spring perch pending ride height, could brace mounting points to run coilover type, but why?many successful 86's/70's running non coilover rear

I was just wondering if there any good. Never looked into them. Would rather run just lowerd springs and adjustable shocks

Okay so bit of an update, havnt been doing much with this car lately but I got sacked the other day so I've been wasting my days on the car :)

Been having trouble getting the car to crank over, after a few days of head scratching I found a wire that was open circuit up near the fusible links, got the motor cranking over and she's sounding healthy as she should,

I put a loom and computer in a little while ago, the previous owner of the loom made a complete birds nest of the trigger wires and fuse/relay section, I fixxed it up a little bit, not the best but was better than before but I didnt have complete faith in if I had done it right,

Got the dizzy timed up, tested for spark and it worked! :)

Tomorrow time to test for injector pulse, and see if I can get it fired up!

also they are some big tyres. a bit less tyre would look good

Looks sick man, and on the topic of coilover rears I ran GAZ comp coils in the rear (and still do) for 2 years daily on a stock s series diff, never bent a mount or cracked a thing, I have reinforced the shock mounts on my new diff but only for peace of mind, I love the fact that the coilovers are height adjustable and not just a set height arrangement, if I were to go with an adjustable spring perch and separate shock arrangement there's no way I'd be able to have the same low ride height AND the long travel that I get out of the coilovers

Yeah gonna change the carbs trumpets, they just came with the carb setup so yeH, but I'll get my mate to powder coat them,
Tyers ain't that big :) the wheels are 13" so gotta fill the guard somhow without going to stoopid low, but I will go a little smaller, and not as much stretch,

My mates got shock works in his 86, spring and shock are seperate and it's the best riding 86 I've ever sat my ass in, you can adjust the shock travel to how suit how low the springs are set,

Bc's are the exact same setup and people seem to swear by them so I think I'll go with then :) but thanks for the input dude :)

Yeah from what I've heard/read there the bee's knee's ATM, or if you got money shock works, but this isn't gonna be sliding around a track or anything, just a nice clean streeter ke70,
Sly wet night slides and maybe a skidpan/texikahna day here and there but yeah, mostly just a nice street car to drive this one
