just look like the steelies you can get from option 1 garage

They look like my diamonds but then other steelies can look the same ad diamonds anyway. Best way you'll be able to tell is the weight, diamonds weigh heaps less than Dynamic Steelies and other cheap steel wheels.

Looks identical to mine, which are not diamond racing (for sure, compared with my mates set of diamond racing steelies), pretty sure they're the option 1 ones as mentioned above.

Well my Diamonds weigh far, far less than a 15x8 Superlite.

15 x 9 Diamond weighs less than a 15 x 8 Superlite.

Everything weighs far, far less than Superlites. My old 15x6s were about the heaviest wheel I have ever met.

The name was originally an in-joke amongst the designers at Performance, but somehow it got public and they've just run with it ever since.

I'll put one on the scales but it'll have to be with a tyre on. Ok so Superlites are heavy but Diamonds are pretty light.

i find that hard to believe... diamond quote the weight of their 15 x 10 @ 9.1kg(20lbs) in the pro challenger series... the challenger series (same as pictured above)
quote the same weight (9.1Kg) for their 14" wheel.

my 15 x 10 superlite gtr weighed around 9.2kg/ wheel IIRC

i think standard superlites in the comparative sizes would weight slightly more. but defiantly not the GTR light versions.

That in joke story sounds like complete bullshit. The wheel has been around since the 1960s! So it would of been superlite when comparing to the steel wheels of the day!

You had the old style 10 spoke superlites which were heavy for their size, no doubt.

But since they are used on a variety of cars strength is also a factor.

Simmons wheels had issues with barrels warping (when they used 4mm material)

my 15x8 GTR superlites weigh about 7.6kg each which for the size and application and budget is excellent.

I also have a set of 14x6 superlites I used on my gravel car and they have copped a fucking hiding, jumps, rocks etc, and still perfectly true.

No ones bagging Superlites here Dave come now! It's just that Diamond steelies are better.

My superlights are the heaviest wheels Ive run on my ae86....

But i still prefer them over some commo looking steelies, or square chinese wheels :P

Wow, sorry to get stuck into Superlites. I apologise. And yes I made that story up without realizing anyone might take it seriously.
