Post wheel fitment and pictures here.

Need some ideas!

Please make sure you include Size/Width/Offset

He's one I prepared earlier.

18 x 9.5 +30 215 40

These poke a perfect amount, if it was higher you would need camber arms.

Not bad hay

12th May 2013, 09:47 PM
What wheel align settings marvy? Im thinking VS XX 18x9 +38 for Rachels, since she's a lady

12th May 2013, 11:37 PM
Like -2.5 and -4.

Fucking wack though, as it pokes more one side on the front and the rear is like, around 1deg difference from each other.

12th May 2013, 11:38 PM
I think that idiot in the ILL86 has the sizes you mentioned.

15th May 2013, 01:31 AM
Waiting on tyres so only have these for now:

Work XD9 18x9 +38 front (225/40 R18), 18x10 +38 rear (245/35 R18)

Test fit rear

Hopefully can get some tyres fitted by the end of the week. Coilovers went in yesterday :)

17th May 2013, 04:50 PM
im going to go xd9 in 17x8.5 +32 front and rear with 215/45r17 (stock tyre size). i dont like the idea of staggered wheels on the 86/brz for balance reasons. im going that offset (not as aggressive as some) because i will be running a rear camber kit and dont want epic camber up front as i will be running semis.

18th May 2013, 02:58 AM
I'll be running either standard wheels with better tyres or something slightly wider (similar or less weight) with better tyres for khana purposes. Staggered setup is only for street use - wheels and tyre combo are far too heavy to make any benefits to my times :)

Besides finding decent tyres in these sizes is far too costly :/

Correct, cheaper to experiment sizes than blow money on tyres that won't work.... Now I know what I want

Btw they ride like federal 535

Looks way higher than it really is in the first photo. Looks like you took the photos in a retirement home or something. and the other two don't do it justice.

Looks waaay better in real life.

Why the giant tyres! Wheels look good tho 215/40 would be better and closer to stock rolling daimeter no?

13th July 2013, 09:11 PM
Price, 215/40 were like $250ea in the tyre I wanted. Flaaaaag that.

13th July 2013, 09:46 PM
Looks mint. White on white 86s really do look the goods.. Needs a front lip to finish it off! And this may sound gay but black door handles?

13th July 2013, 09:50 PM
needs a white boy in short shorts on the bonnet

I know it's an old reply but I run the same size as Jacob mentioned and in terms of rolling daimeter it was about 19mm taller than standard. Speedo was around 6% out from the factory (overstating) now its 2% out (overstating still) - also car looks lower than it is due to ~10mm reduction in tyre to guard gap :)

But yeah, 235/40 are a little better for pricing :D
