4agze vs 4age 20v blacktop

hey guys im trying to decide what motor to put in my sprinter im tossing up between a 4agze and a 4age 20v black top.

just wanted to know the benefits of each and what use recommend i choose

Depends on whether you prefer NA or turbo/supercharged. Alot easier to get power out of a ze.

I have a ZE and LOVE it!! power straight up when you hit that peddal. but im not a full toyota boy i have only had the 86 for 10 months so i dont have that purist heart that has been mentiond. i have been it cars powered by 20v's and would say the ze feels much quicker with the way it delivers the power. plus if your still after more power once its in just up the boost chuck on a bigger throttal body and make even more power. not as simple to get extra out of the 20v, plus you have to worry about relocating your dizzy or going an aftermarket spark set up to get it in rwd format.

got a gze and looovvve it, have had a few silverto 20v's in fwd rolla and the gze is a lot more fun out of the box.

buttttttttt if i had my time again with my ae71 i would go a 20v or worked 16v if i was gunna keep power around the 130 odd kw mark.. to chase more power (ie working a ze) i would have just started with a sr20det as a base to work off... but i guess its cos im not a purist to a degree.

and how much of a difference is there between a 16v and 20v power wise and potiential

lower comp 20v supercharged:D i've got a blacktop 20v head if you want it, wa splannin to use but i've found a cheap as hell 16v pm me

-sounds awesome
-looks awesome in your bay (ESPECIALLY over an ugly-as-fark gze)
